I like the Pherrows sweats (From SoaS) a bit trimmer all round than BR and a bit heavier weight

Pleased with it LVC hooded 50's sweat(at a discount, overpriced at full price, of course) not as oversized as the 40's sweat and a good short fit. I like the neckline in this weather and the heavier weight.

Agree the N1 (non-demotex) comes up big (for good practical wartime reasons) I'm normally a 44/45 but an XL (42) fits me well in the NI and the Tanker. Advantage of going smaller is arm/shoulder/back fits me better

As warm as any good quality wool cap can be. I've never been under-insulated in any of mine. Mind you, if its really cold/wet then a trapper or similar might be better. Of course, if one gets wet it'll still insulate. But, it might not be the best way to treat a $100 cap all the time .

Just started to break in 1840 13.6 oz wild cotton (tea). Same silhouette as 1108. Should have a slightly purplish brown hue. Fit is great and stretching a bit already, so should be just right when they get first wetting. Got from Son of a Stag - thanks for all your help Lynda whilst Rudi in Japan. Perhaps I'll see Miki-San again and he can sign them!
