I picked up a bandanna to fix up my pocket bag. Should I wash em before I stitch em? They were washed about a month ago

Does anyone have any tips for fixing pocket bags?

I did a homemade stitch job which isn't holding up very well and I'm getting more holes.

Little update on my Chelsea Nisshinbo's (5mths, 1 soak, 1 wash).

I gave them a wash a couple of weeks back and they're fading real nice. A slight rip in the back pocket and cuff line might need some attention. I did a little homemade repair job on the bandana pockets.

Hey Guys, as promised here's some (hopefully not too many) pics of my Nisshinbo Chelseas.

A little off topic as this isn't a sweatpants post, but hopefully it's ok here. 

 

I picked up a pair of Nisshinbo Chelsea's when on holidays in NYC in Blue in Green. I've been wearing them daily since Novemeber and they're by far my favourite pair of jeans.

 

I'm getting some serious wallet pocket fades after 4 months.
