this is my 5th time watching this,
in my personal opinion the zeitgeist film of an era
<Fight Club 1999>
"God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables – slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our great war is a spiritual war. Our great depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars, but we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off." - Tyler Durden

loving this piece
the weight and the disconnected resonance gives me a destructive, distorted mental vision,
it's like a nice trip - well, not the sunshine and rainbow one tho ; )
the only thing i hate about is that most of his work is just too short, sometimes you don't wanna wake up from the swirling atmosphere
he's on soundcloud too so for those whos interested you may explore some of his other works here:

Sartorialoft is having its seasonal sale as well,
http://www.sartorialoftla.com/en/product/product.php?c_id=7&p=1
Quite a few decent items going for the price that's even lower than some in the secondary market. These brand new layer-0 are only 640usd (originally 1185usd, or more expensive else where) shipped!

I've always liked the lining from this season, back in the winter of 07
a iconic piece from Takaniro Miyashita, i remember wanting this piece back then and was scared by the retail price when i flipped the tag, and now as the label is fading, it's rather affordable now

I was wondering how the western approach of Zen would be.
I've been reading D.T. Suzuki's book recently and I'd have to say it is really hard to comprehend. not sure if it's due to twisted/ambiguous meaning/wording by translation or I don't have that" in me for zen.

it was a pleasant experience visiting this art gallery
infinity pool on the second floor
walking down the stairs, back to first floor
hope this post falls into the context of this thread

It's -7'c and snowing out there
Sinking into this piece, where the gradual build-up lures my mind and the sudden climax after the short speech gives me eargasm
