@hobocho sorry to hear that man, shame your health insurance won't cover that.  We are trying a 15 oz Xinjiang which I just got in the sample and looks great, nice thick and spongy soft cotton from the extra long staple cotton. Good new's is we dropped the price on this to $180. I think you will really like the denim plus it will have the new hardware on it that I recently posted on instagram.

Oh nice, is the new Xinjiang going to be black?

  2. Hey Christian/Leftfield,
is there any updates on whether you guys will be restocking the Collect Mills Black Maria Chelsea? I just got into a wicked car accident and the EMTs cut off my beautifully battered 4 year old pair. I'm glad I'm all right from the crash, but losing those jeans just breaks my heart so I'm looking to get a new pair to hopefully recreate those fit/fades I loved.

  3. Sorry if its been asked before, but could not find anything from a quick search.

Can anyone comment on the crew neck Tee shirt size.  The web pics make it look very large, and not sure if its the model, the shirt or something else....i generally like a tighter neck....but I'm on the skinny side...thanks

I have a bunch of their tees, and have been wearing them for a few years. The measurements on their site indicate after wash and drying in the machine, but they start out a lot bigger than that. They easily stretch a lot throughout the day as well (sweat and pulling) most likely due to the nature of the jersey fabric.

The model probably sized up on his, just order your chest size knowing that it'll stretch throughout the day. They are pretty short and boxy, and the neck opening isn't narrow like TFH or SG, but it's enough for me. The main reason why I keep on wearing them is cause they're super comfortable compared to my other tees, and I dig the boxy silhouette.

  4. I just measured my undyed tees from last year that have been through countless washes and dries in the machines. For 170 they measured 60 cm length and 48.5 cm chest. Basically a 4 cm shrink in length and 1.5 cm stretch in chest (from constant wear) when compared to the size charts.

I highly recommend these shirts, the seams on the shoulders are placed further forward so that the drape on your body is much more natural causing the front to rest flat and the back to take up the extra space which creates a nice silhouette. The sleeves are a bit long and wide, but that's fixed by just rolling them up.

  5. Just washed one of my Whitesville tees for the first time. Hand washed with Dr Bronners, 30 degrees C as per tag. Shrunk about 2 inches in the length and about an inch in width and arms. It fit perfectly pre-wash so it's too small now.

    Thanks for the heads up!

  6. I wear my t-shirts so often and because where i'm living they get dirty/sweaty after one wear that i've learned to just buy a size up because at the end of the day i want to be able to wash and dry them like a bath towel.  I can't stand babying clothing, let alone babying a blank white t-shirt.

I'm quite the same way; there goes no day where Im not wearing a clean white t shirt. I've had problems in the past though where I've bought a size up hoping for them to shrink after bombarding them with washing and drying, and they managed to hold up to their original measurements despite being 100% cotton. Don't want to make that mistake again.

Did you tumble dry these? I wear my Hanes undershirts(S) much tighter and stretch into them than my TFH(40) shirts which have some room in the belly. If they really shrink just 1-2 cm after the dryer in width then the stretch for a (S) should be manageable for me given that they are good at stretching at the right places.

  8. I really like the tight neck hole on flathead THC t shirts, and am looking for something a little cheaper this summer/spring. Anyone with experiences on LadyWhiteCo tees and their neck tightness, and if they retain their shape over washes?

  9. I'm not so much worried about the chest as much as I am about the shoulders, and ideally I would need somewhere around 17 inches. How much stretch did you manage to get on the size 3 Ed? The site lists them as 15 inches which is a bit unsettling for me.

  10. I have a couple of plain white FH THC tees, but were bought at different times. My older ones have a significantly tighter neck hole than the newer one. Do you guys know if this is a permanent change? I have a pretty thick neck and a small head so I like how the tighter neck lessens my "neckface" so I'm not as much of a fan of the recent one I've got. Anyone have input on how the SG tees or any other similar silhouetted tee's necklines are compare the the FH THCs?

  11. How long was the wear and how many washes were on Christian's pair of sulfur-dyed collect mills shown on page 30?

Running a Talon zip indigo hooded sweatshirt for fall.

Will you guys be doing those in any other colors?

  12. To the people wondering why the Thai's go that long without washing is because East and Southeast Asians in general possess far fewer and in some cases zero apocrine glands. That basically means it's a lot harder for them to produce (sometimes impossible)

that B.O. smell many of us are familiar with. So in theory, as long as they keep their asses clean and don't spill any disgusting stuff on it they can go a pretty long time without washing (although I still wouldn't recommend it).
