  1. Received the 18 oz. Collect Mills in Charles Atlas cut.  Amazing crisp slubby denim and a equally amazing cut.  I know the Charles Atlas is directed toward dudes with bigger legs but I actually have very skinny legs and these fit exactly how i want jeans to fit.  Left Field just keeps on doing what nobody else does which is why I keep coming back.

  2. @leftfield I've been meaning to check out Deadly Dragon for years now.  I'll definitely do it now with your recommendation.  Also need to check out the Left Field store and the jukebox.

@whiskeyriver I have the digital version of the album, nice find on vinyl!

  3. @brucenasty, thanks.  I am not sure who made it.  I picked it up at a gun show about 2 years ago.  I was told the handle is made from Cape Buffalo horn and that the red symbol indicates that the master bladesmith made the entire knife.  I don't know if those things are true but it is certainly a solid blade.

  4. What's up guys.  #5 crogers0031 here.  Call me Chris.  I am technologically deficient and attempted to save my pics to an imgur album with the link posted below.  Hope it works.  Will try to post the pics here too in a bit.  I live on Long Island and when I'm not working I'm usually hanging out with my wife, my 2 year old daughter, and my baby son.  When I'm not hanging with them I'll be with my friends and/or fam drinking or brewing beer, or both.  Really enjoy tasting new and interesting beers.  Love the beach and everything outdoors - hiking, fishing, camping, and the like.  Into all different types of music, especially 1970's and 80's reggae.  I unfortunately wear a suit to work so it's unlikely that I'll win this competition but I'll slip into the Maria's after work for a few hours and weekends and see what happens.  Just happy to be a part of this.  I have a lot of left field gear and I love what they do.

  5. Got my 23 oz heavyweights yesterday too.  They are substantial!  A real nice, seemingly unbreakable pair of jeans.  Looking forward to wearing them for years to come.  Will try to get some pics up and updated sweat pants contest pics this weekend.

My name is Chris and I live on Long Island.  Excited to be part of the contest.  Here are my initial fit pics.  If this can be my official intro, I'll leave it as such.  If not, I'll be happy to post again.  The sweats have not been washed or soaked and I'm not sure what my approach is going to be just yet.  Due to the nature of my job, I can't wear these to work.  But I'll be wearing them after work each day and chasing my 10 month old daughter around on the weekends.  This will be my first contest and I'm happy it's for Left Field as I only wear LF pants these days.  Looking forward to a fun year!

  7. As promised, ordered a pair of the new heavy Collect Greasers in size 37 today.  Supporting the new size addition.

Spent mad loot on Left Field within the last year, but it's worth it.

My wife might kill me but at least I'll die in a pair of greasers.

  8. Yup!  Completely agree Mile High and Satchel.  That's why I thought inquiring about 37 was worth a shot.  But if there's no demand, hey, what can you do?  No biggie.

By the way, Choctaw Ridge boxer briefs...oh yes!  Found some on a nice sale.  4 pairs is not enough!

  9. I'm in your boat setterman.  35.5 to 38 is the biggest jump between sizes in the Greasers and I fall within the middle of that gap.  My 35.5 Kurokis did stretch out after a few months of wear though.

  10. I would love to see 37.  Been squeezing into 36's (which is actually 35.5).  35.5 to 38 is a pretty big gap.  If there's enough demand, would a 37 become a reality?  I would order a pair of Black Marias today if I could get em in 37.

  11. You should be good to go.  I have a true measured waist of 37 and my Kuroki Greaser 36's (measured 35.4) fit me perfectly pretty quickly.  And from what I understand, the Kurokis typically are "less stretchy" than others.  Been wearing them for almost 3 months now.

Just picked up my third pair of Left Field pants - the cone indigo ducks in the tailored/Keroauc fit.  They're amazing.

  12. Just picked up the tailored brown selvedge ducks.  Wow!  Huge Left Field fan.  The ducks and the Kuroki greasers will likely be the only pants I wear for the next year or so.

Also like the Six Point/Left Field collabo.  Drinkin an Autumnation right now.

  13. I'm new to this forum and Left Field but loving both.  I have a sizing question.

I'm about a month into a pair of Kurokis, size 36.  Amazing pair of jeans, best I've ever owned.

I've now got the Left Field itch and am looking into the Cone White Oak Brown Selvedge Canvas Miner Chinos.  I measured a pair of chinos that fit me well, in accordance with the suggestion on the Left Field website and here's what I got: 18.5 inches in the waistband when pulled tight, multiply by 2 you get 37, minus 1 for stretch you get 36.

So, do I go with a 34 since the "actual waist" is 36, as per the website?

Sorry for the longwinded question.  Hope someone can help.
