  1. How much shrinkage in the inseam can I expect on a pair of 60's jeans?

My pair started out at a 38" inseam, after two washes and one dryer cycle it has become 35,75". Will these shrink any further with more washes?

  2. speaking of PBJ, what's the general consensus on their unsanforized denim and shrinkage? I've been eyeballing the unsanforized xx-011 LHT's from BiG but don't know how much shrinkage there typically is in the waist. Is it about 1" or 2"? Otherwise, I may go with the once washed version down the road

In the slim-tapered cut definitely size for the thigh, as the cut is fairly slim throughout the upper leg. The waist will stretch quite a bit after shrinkage (past raw measurements as chicote mentioned) so that may not be the main thing to worry about. The thigh on the other hand won't stretch that easily.

  3. PBJ xx-012 contest is delivered! What a beauty of a pair! Did a quick soak, now waiting for them to dry. They did fit quite good pre-soak, hopefully they will stretch back to pre-soak measurements, as the knee was already a bit tight.

  4. I've recieved the tracking number, but Mahoto told me my pair could be stuck at the FedEx office as the're hit by a typhoon currently, as the shipping info wasn't updated since thursday.

If you haven't recieved a tracking number, I suggest you mailing Mahoto, as he mostly replies pretty quickly.

  5. I remember awhile ago there was a small company based in the U.S. that made pretty durable raw leather wallets semi-custom for a pretty good price. Anyone remember the name of this company or know of any others? I can't seem to find it using the search.

    Thanks!

I've ordered a wallet, belt and key-ring lanyard at Don't Mourn Organize. Scott, the owner, delivers great products at a good price point. He can do custom orders too!

  6. Shot some pictures of my 0701. Since the 2nd wash (after about 1 year of active wear) i've been washing them regularly about every 3 weeks. The cotton stitching is not holding up great, here and there are some loose threads.

The crotch has been reenforced by Mr. Handy Denim Repair in Groningen.

    My 0701: 2,5 years, 5 washes

The crotch has blown out so it had to be sewn up. It looks a bit overdone but while wearing it isn't noticeable because it blends in quite good.

The cotton stitching also tends to snap here and there. Luckily, most of the times that was an easy fix.
