Thanks for the kind words! Sad to say it's the same for me. The shell was excess that a friend of mine had and sold to me. Horween told me to check in august and I haven't gotten word back from shinki who I contacted over a month ago. If I come into some I'll tell you where to get some.

  2. Hi all, had a question: I've been trying to get the best evo i can out my wallet and started tanning it without knowing what I was doing. Basically I left it out in the sun for 3 ish hours a few times thinking it would speed up the tanning process, I'm worried I may have started to dry out the leather. I've read good things about obenaufs heavy duty LP and was thinking about applying some, can anyone whose used it attest to it or another product for "rejuvenating" the leather? I've posted a few (albeit crappy) pics that show the grain, I might be a worry wart but I don't want the evo to turn out crappy after spending so much time making it. I appreciate any help.

    Regards,

    Kevin

  3. Looking for casual/dress shorts that are made of nylon or something similar, Florida heat kills me and I'm usually walking around campus all day, is Outlier my only option for something that doesn't look Mil-spec like TAD Gear?

  4. I used to use an old locking carbiner like this because it was super rugged and the lock was extra security, but it got too heavy over time and I decided to make myself some pictured below, I use the one on the right more often because of the overbuilt swivel snap and length.

I enjoy the irony of stitching American-made in Chinese onto a wallet.  Though, I think you missed a stroke on the final character:

    Shouldn't it be:

    美国制造

    thanks eric,

I did miss a stroke, sadly I noticed it after I stitched the back to the body

I'm a student of Chinese not a native speaker haha
