Most often cases not really. One wash jeans are put through industrial washers and dryers, and probably 99% of the shrinkage is achieved. I would say one wash-unsanforized denim is less likely to shrink than sanforized.
I heard different brands does their washing differently, hmmm.

Have you looked at your post 5 posts above mate?
Ops sorry, i thought my post didn't went through at first. Edited it to answer your reply.
Anyways, so i assume it is possible to further shrink a one wash unsanforized?

I have just done this very thing.
But 'selective' shrinking? Not convinced. You could always drape the lower legs into a bucket and fill with boiling water from the kettle but you're gonna burn your fingers when you agitate!
Anyway the 107 is already slim and tapered, and the skinniest of all of their unsanforised cuts, with a tiny hem width (!) so in all likelihood they are fine.
I am aware that the 107 is already the slimmest cut, but the thing here is i am short, so it looks kinda awkward below the knee.
One Wash unsanforized?? They are one or the other surely? Just give em a hot soak either way if they are fine above the Knee they will stretch back out anyway but you may get the shrinkage you want in the hem that won't stretch back
I am getting it hemmed post soaking anyways, It's is too long.

I recently bought a "One Wash" Studio D'artisan SD-107 Unsanforized jeans.Fitting is good all above the knee and i love it, but i prefer it just slightly slimmer below knee.So I am wondering if it is possible to further shrink the One Wash-ed jeans by hot soaking?I actually came across this same issue two years back with my Japan blue X Momotaro 0200SP.As it was a Sanforized pair I didn't think much about ways to shrink it and got it altered at a tailor. And the result was badAnd so here I am seeking advice so I wont have to go though an awful tailor experience again0
