Yeah, im a 32 as well, but my main issue is length. I'm 6'4" so i need to account for that primarily, given that the waist on P23s is meant to cinch down. Anyways, i'll see if they wont mind me trying on a M and an L to compare.

Good luck man, i cinched it down and it was still a bit loose.

Anyone here been to Haven on drop day to check out new stuff live and in person? Is it worth it or does it sell out so fast online that they don't even put it out on the floor? I wouldnt mind going down just to size some pieces up (still trying to figure out if im more of an M or L in P23s in general).

If you live close by i suggest just going in before they drop it online, sells out fast. P23'S fit really werid, i'm usually 32-33 so in between med/large and M p23's fit hella big waist wise and small is perfect for me.

have you been to one before? worried about crazy lines lmfao

first 1 was good first 20 people got all the good stuff. It's mostly left overs from last times warehouse sale and odd sizes. Probably not worth to line up

I definitely also believe leslie brought up good points to light. I'll focus on the main point of orientalism in techwear. Let's be honest, it's a problem that asians are not fairly represented in the cyberpunk world (or much of anywhere on the internet/media for that matter).

It was/is the niche of Acronym and techwear in general that allows for asian americans and the far east to have their own slice of that cake; even if in books/movies the whole world revolves around the white hero(es). I don't want to bring up the whole ghost in the shell 2017 ordeal, but as someone posted on reddit, "Unfortunately, and not aggressively nor negatively-speaking, you can't and never will understand why POC speak out about these problems because you're white. This isn't just an outcry about GITS, but Asian American representation. Hollywood has always cast white people as the "norm", and the media now has accepted it as the "basis" as what color of a person should be expected to be seen on screen. This is wrong. We all love GITS, I for one will not be paying to watch Scar-Jo."

Now this was one point out of many other bad and good points she wrote about. I don't find the term tech-ninja to be racist, and in fact think it's pretty cool (who doesn't want to be a ninja?) All in all, it wasn't a bad article and definitely she had cited her sources which were littered throughout every paragraph, in order to back up and get her opinion across.

ps. lol @ the lowkey roast of r/techwearclothing

Basically everything about asians are cool but, being one? nah too nerdy, yellow peril is still a thing and its hilarious

I am a L in most SISP, this piece included. It's pretty high loft and unlike down it's not compressible. Also, this fleece is a fucking hassle to get on and off, contrary to the product photos with the long slanting zipper it doesn't zip apart—it stops like 3 inches from the hem for some unknown reason. I would recommend sizing up if you're between sizes. Don't get me wrong, I still really like the fleece, it's just....quirky.

Thanks, now i'm not so sure if i want it now after hearing from you that the zippers don't zip apart LOL.

So I got my J61-GT in recently (again, your boy is 5'9" 180lbs 39/40r suit, 32-33 waist, mesomorphic body type) here are some first impressions:

FABRIC/MATERIALS: GT pro is GT pro. The nickel ykk is a nice touch but it makes me feel like I'm clashing when I wear the DAF1's with the bronze finished ykk zippers. Not really a big deal.

FEATURES: Hem to hood two way zip closure. Neck button, bottom press stud closure. Gigantic hood with velcro adjuster. External waist shockcord adjuster. No velcro'd magnets at collar, so we don't have to know how they work. The longest interops zipper ever. Zip in liner compatibility. Four outer pockets with water resistant zippers. I really appreciate the back quarter zip pockets like the J46. They're fucking gigantic and well placed so you don't have item overlap.

FIT: it is "anti-fit." It's all around larger than any other Acronym coat I've had my hands on, think future evil mods coat. It's like 1.5–2in longer in the arms and overall length than the J39. Around 1" in the arms and 5-6in in the length from the J61-WS. It feels roomier in the arms and body than both as well but I haven't laid it down and really compared with other jackets. I've worn a J58-WS, last FW's SISP Pertex bomber (651940404), and the most recently SISP fleece assymetrical fleece (671960306) which is more voluminous than both with it and it's accommodated all.

OVERALL: This is a menacing jacket by sheer surface area. The cut and fabric make the hood more structured than the WS version and cause it to sit higher on the neck making it appear more like a monk's cowl. Fairly unique piece, this is the definitive version of the 61: more like Blade Runner: The Final Cut than Apocalypse Now Redux.

quick q are you M and the SISP asym fleece? and is it pretty roomy for a M?
