the idxid 14oz is so tempting, I want a pair myself!! (if I've got the money) 

the sizing (by denimio and rodeo bros) is so confusing, I usually wear 29 and if I see that, I think I need to wear 32 on the 516, and 31 on the 512 and 612

those fits are awesome, if I get to pick it someday it'd be either 516 or 612 

and that sizing thing also makes me doubt to pick one even if I had the money, I've never returned things overseas before, and I wouldn't want to be charged much more by the customs and shipping cause the price we need to pay is quite expensive here in Indonesia 

if anyone already picked a pair, please give some reviews

imo it needs hem, stack or cuff is personal preference, but I do prefer a few tidy-looking stacks, which never appeared on my jeans unfortunately...

nice vintage pair, bloodynutz, make me want a pair for myself, but, I'm not into that heavyweight denim anymore, my last jeans was sam's 19oz and it feels hotter and hotter nowadays, so 14-17oz would be my perfect pair

Thanks Flo, yeah iirc my washing machine temperature was broken and it was actually really hot, but it was fixed after that, and unfortunately my sams was the victim 

Jambol, the leather patch is really dry lol, I don't think there's hope in restoring it, anyway I'll enjoy it that way until I have a new pair to break in

this happened to my patch, idk, maybe the temperature on my washing machine was too hot or it happened when I dried it under direct sunlight, happened long time ago 

anyway really enjoyed the denim 

^003jp isn't Jin, cmiiw, it's Yamato if I recall correctly

and yes the yamato model is the slimmest fit for samurai, or you can go one size down on s710xx 19oz, if you're skinny or slim enough

and oh, I think, based on what others here experienced, don't go downsize on newer models of the s710xx, it may won't fit you

this info caught my attention, I'm curious about the s511xx, I've wanted to try the 15oz fabric, it's too hot in Bali to wear something heavier than that I think, I've been wearing the 19oz for a year and I really feel that it's getting hotter and hotter...

the thing is, will it be a loose cut? I know there was a cut called s511 (Honten limited cmiiw) but not much info I found about them. I wanted a slim pair, something that will fit either like s003jp, s710xx or s711vx, but we'll see for sure, the description said they will be around on may, if i'm not mistaken. The 18oz fabric with persimmon dye is interesting too though, but I'm not into the fit, yet  

another thing, will they be available at any store or just in that spiral jeans, something exclusive to them?

If only there's more info about it, but anyway we'll see, I'm interested.

anybody got a clue in sizing for the 417 cut? how does it differ from the 517?
if I supposedly wear a 29 in the 517 cut, should I take 29 in the 417 or does it need to be 30?

I was hoping that it would be 517xxbe that's getting restocked, but it was 417xxbe instead, so yeah, got a bit of a confusion here

I'm interested in oni 517, the 14oz version, say if I compare it to the sizing of sams (710xx in case), how do I size?

from my observation on size charts (BiG, Denimio), I think I should take one bigger size than the 710xx?

so basically what I'm saying is, if I'm wearing a 29 s710xx, should I wear a 30 on the 517 denim to make it fit properly? or 29 will do just fine?

I wouldn't use the words "plenty of room". They fit you well, you obviously liked them enough to fade them really nice. And as you seem to be pretty skinny, you should choose a slimmer cut then the 710s to get a slimmer Silhouette. Those look as they should.

well as for me I think that's quite "plenty", hehe, but I know it's not that plenty compared to most of your jeans' fits max.

I think I can go with size 28 of the jeans that I'm wearing, for the fades that's the result of a whole one-year-wear with 5 washes 

I know most of your fits and they mostly have way more room than mine, I just think I'm not ready yet for that relaxed straight fit you're into, but maybe sometime later? who knows 

so then yeah maybe the s710xx model doesn't really suit me, I know a slimmer cut from samurai which is S003jp but the fading type just doesn't go with my taste, I'm really into s710xx's typical of fade.

I was interested in PBJ's xx007, but I think it's no longer around, or am I wrong?

I just wanna know if 007's fabric is the same with the 012, just with a different cut? and I'd like to know how to size on it too  

I'm curious about one size down on s710xx, will it be safe for long term wear? can it get any close to my jeans' fit? I only seen some preferences on beautiful_FrEaK's fit guide that gives a TTS and a Sizedown 2 which is a not-to-do thing.

Hello all, please kindly help me for the sizing of Samurai S710xx, i've never worn any unsanforized denim before 

I was confused on should I go true to size based on the waist, or should I size down, my waist size is around 30" or 76cm, but I usually wear 28 or 29 size jeans, tag sized 30 would go too big for me. My leg is quite slim in term of proportion I think.

for preference, I will give a fit example of the jeans I'm currently using, a local brand of my country, sanforized, around 14-15oz, here is.

How it fits me now:

as you guys can see there's plenty of room on the back, on the top block and down my leg. 

anyway here's the size chart of my jeans : Tag Size 29, waist 30", thigh 11", knee 7.7", hem 7.3". (before any soaks or washes). with this size, I still got a few room on my thigh and around the backpocket, shown in the initial fitpic.

I've seen some fitpics of s710xx that fits the wearer not too tight but neat, it looks slim rather than slim straight, I wonder if I can achieve that kind of look and how do I size?
