Ordered a pair of 66's a few weeks ago. They've become my go-to jeans. The fit is spot on. Also got a free tshirt with my purchase. Cannot beat these jeans for the price.

Thank you, I thought they were too slim at first, but as they are settling in, I like them more and more.

Fit pic. RS04. Been wearing them for about 12 hours and they have softened up. They're still taking shape and settling in. A little snugger than I'm used to and than I was expecting but change is nice every once in a while, right?

That is a great fit satchelbmoore. I need to get me a pair of these real soon...

Thanks guys, the thighs are under a bit of pressure so they might stretch a little more. I got a 31 and probably should've went with a 32 but I'm very impatient and didnt feel like waiting for the next batch.
I've been a denim head for about 4 years now and just now realizing I have larger thighs for my size/frame. I do absolutely love these jeans, and I still like the fit. I would LOVE the fit if the thighs would stretch some. Thanks though guys, I appreciate it.

Hey guys, I'm sure this has been asked before but I soaked my pair of RS04's and they are a bit more slim/tight in the thigh than I was hoping. Does the denim stretch much? I'm hoping with wear that the thighs will go back to they're unsoaked state. Thank you.

Just found this. IMO you can tell that they are still a bit oversized on the model, but still offer a better idea of the the fit than the tellason website

Yeah guys, I would deffinately say the fit pics for the sheffields on Tellasons site are misleading. I would go by the Ankaras and just use your imagination for the taper lol

Yeah the fit pics for the sheffields on tellasons website are honestly pretty bad lol. They are the same as the Ankara in the top block and they taper from the knee down.
I think the Sheffield/ Ankara is a pretty universal fit. Depending on how you size, you can get a slim to a looser fit.
For example, I normally wear a 32 in most brands. 31 in some, and I just looked at the size chart on the woodlands website and determined that I needed a 30. The ankaras/Sheffield run slightly large in the waist.
They were tight(but not uncomfortably tight) when I first got them and have stretched for a perfect fit.
So if you want a slimmer fit for sheffields, I would say size down 2 from your normal size. But check the size chart on the woodlands website for ankaras(because they don't carry Sheffields and sheffeilds have the same top block as ankaras) to make sure that you can size down that much and they'll fit you.
I'm really tempted to order the 16.5oz Sheffield but I'm currently waiting on a pair of Roy's to arrive in the mail.

Sheffield has the same top block as the ankaras and they have a slight taper to them. I have a pair of ankaras, and the top block is pretty snug. I sized down one and I really like the fit but sometimes I find myself wishing the leg opening was slightly smaller.
I love my Ankaras but sometimes I wish I would've went with the Sheffield because they do taper a bit.

Posted these in the LVC thread. Figured I'd post em here too.
My 1967 505's. had them for 4 or so years. Probably 2 years worth of wear.
Next to another pair of 67 505's with about 2 months wear.

I agree. They have a hell of alot more character and depth in person. Will try and capture it better when I get home later.

Hey guys. This is my first post here. These are my 1967 505's. had these for about 4 years. Probably about 2 years worth of wear.
Taken with iPhone camera.
They are size 32x36. These were my first pair of selvedge denim and I love them to death. Washed fairly frequently. If I had to guess they were machined washed at least 3 times and soaked probably the same amount.
