The inseam shrunk less than I thought so they are going back to the tub. Other than that, I'm quite happy with the fit:

The waist measures 34" (43.2 cm) and the thigh 12.2" (31 cm).

I think I will try to try them one of these days and if I like them I will make them my self x'mas gift.

So what's the story with that new 3012 model? Anyone had the chance to try them on? The measurements seems to be a bit odd but I think I'd like the fit.

Just got my first pair of Trickers and I really love them. I was wondering, in order to pursue what the title of this thread indicate, shall I use Mustang paste on them to protect the leather?

I also saw that this store in Tokyo recomends to put a metal toe steel in order to protect the tip of the leather sole, which apparently tends to wear off quickly. I would like to know what you guys think about it as after reading the 90+ pages of this thread I have a great respect about your opinion on the subject.
