how much, if at all, does the leather on stan smith's stretch? tried some on in my normal size and they felt kinda tight around toes. wondering if they would loosen up much.

After watching some of the Confederations Cup i'm already excited for the World Cup next summer.

 

I went to Potsdam yesterday as well, it's got very beautiful castle, houses and parks (I have to go to Studio Babelsberg some other time), and the city center is a nice change to Berlin's fast paced inner city. I drove there but it seemed rather ok by S-Bahn. Rather recommended if it's sunny and you want to spend a nice day walking around.

 

It's fine by S-Bahn as long as you're prepared really. Have to be ready to get buses and trams once you get off which isn't that bad unless you have to figure it all out on the spot.

Don't buy it.

I got it the other day but its a nasty light grey colour and it dosent look padded it just looks thin and flimsy, that combined with a slight shiny finish means overall it just looks like some cheap-ass freebie you got from a convention.

 

I returned it.

Well that's a shame then. It looked promising.

Cannes - Pretty shit town in terms of stuff to do during the day, but in the evening there are loads of bars and a few big clubs. Palais, Gotha, Baoli (clubs) have huge line ups of famous artists during the summer which can be pretty awesome. However drinks cost a ton inside - 13 euros for a beer in Gotha for example - so I would advise drinking before going in, unless you've got cash to blow (but be careful not to look drunk at all, they will happily reject you) - but if you do have money to blow you might as well just get a table, and then the price goes up again. 

Antibes - Nice town. Main pedestrianised road near the port is bustling in the summer. One pub I like is The Hopstore, young crowd, nice atmosphere. Apparently a bar called The Quays is better but I haven't been there so can't give any info. Also some nice little restaurants around. The absinthe bar is cool if you're into absinthe. Big selection, prices aren't too bad (around 7 euros for a serving) and it's got a cool atmosphere. Would recommend going to it once just for the experience I guess. Also, there are some very nice beaches in Antibes - go to 'Cap D'Antibes' if you want a nice coastal walk. The beaches are rocky so I'd advise taking some sandals (or any shoes that you can go in the water with), but the water is really nice.

Same here - I find the women's sole is closer in appearance to the Racer/Trainers with the black/white sole. I don't know how I feel about the grey/white Lunarlon sole on the men's...although Gabriel's photo up top makes them look way better than the product photo.

 

Alternatively, anyone know where I can find the black/grey Trainers still?
