  2. Wish I didn't stop skating. I try every summer to get back into it but the winters here are long and wet and I've come to hate all the people who go to the indoor park since I fell out of the scene, so I can never keep at it over the winter. Not to mention everytime I get back on my board for a day I spend the next week popping advils and moaning in pain.

  3. Planning to really dive into the genre(s), what sites can I use besides Beatport to source for tracks? Beatport is mostly commercial stuff anyways.

Check out the General Discussion and Music sections of Dubstepforum.com, find some blogs (I really like Night Tracks, but it's a bit niche), check out some mixes (Dubstep Allstars, Getdarker, xlr8r) and find some tunes you like, then look into the producers (find some of their mixes, albums, etc) and just go from there.

I definitely recommend finding as many mixes as you can, the Dubstep Allstars is amazing especially (2 is my favorite), same with Getdarker, Rinse.fm, and Mary Anne Hobbs. There are so many different sounds in this genre so just dive in and explore.
