Flat Head flannel shirt looks great- question, in general, besides great colors and sewing, what makes a Flat Head flannel, or any of the top Japanese flannels for that matter, better than a department store flannel? Are they thicker maybe?

Hey made the mistake of having a Japanese shop chain stitch the hem up on some UES 400B and the hemmed 2" too short-anyone have any tricks to get at least and inch or so inseam stretch without goofing up this denim?

Seriously man? This thread was from almost 4 years ago.... But to answer your question 80R was more of a midweight denim still sturdy. Just not heavy. I have some laying around somewhere if you're interested pm me i have like 100 pairs of old diesels on my attic lol
