Insane interest in the Dunks. Here are more pics. Like I said the new replaceable (by a professional) heel is basically indestructible. The zipper handle is missing from the left shoe, but is still fully functional. A cobbler can attach a new one for $5.

Re-soled by the wizards at BRASS here is Tokyo. Widely considered some of the best cobblers in the world.

They installed a detachable/replaceable heel with a high quality polyurethane so you can just swap the heel when it wears out without having to do the whole sole. $175 value. They have a lifetime of life left if you maintain the uppers.

Side note, my friend works at this Kinbaku bar and she's been hounding me to visit so I rounded up some girls and went. It was a lot fun, all my girl friends really got into it, changing into costumes, whipping each other...was a riot. Kinbaku (Japanese bondage) would an interesting thing for your buddy I think, only in Japan experience at least.

Ya she's cold. Met her a couple of times, usually at Le Baron or Ever, bunch of mutual friends. She's the type of chick that wouldn't remember you if you were to meet again for a third time, or at least pretend not to ha.

 

She usually has some simp ass 'handler' or whatever getting her drinks and finding adequate seating for her.

I share a lot of mutual friends with this girl and was sitting at her booth at Le Baron a couple of weeks ago, don't know her personally but the way she was treating the people around her was awful, kind of a cunt really. Cute though.
