Hey sufu, i purchased a pair of NF Weird Guy Chambray's in Size 29, my first pair of NF's, and unfortunately, the seat doesnt fit my squat ass

They literally came in about 20 minutes ago, i tried them on for about 30 seconds, took them off, took pictures and put them right back in the mailing envelope. So they are literally brand new and not hemmed or anything

Hey guys, i have a pair of pretty much brand new Levi's Made in the USA 511's in raw selvedge, 29x32.,Bought em planning on making them my next pair but my legs got a little thick from weightlifting since, never worn around, just wore em when i got them for like 1 hour. They have light honeycombs but they're not settled in at all; like i said, barely worn.

Yea no i didn't mean i wanted stacks, but i have to constantly sag my pants down farther than they naturally sit to make sure my socks dont show. Also when i sit my pants show more sock than i'd like. I was thinking literally like no more than 1 inch more. I'm pretty happy with the pair though, the honeycombs are really nice imo so i'm looking forward to them fading. I'm just worried the jeans will stretch out more in the legs. Also i'm not sure what i'm going to do when i soak the jeans cause my inseam is gonna be too short then (hence the 1 inch more desire)

No love for this thread so here are mine. 30x34, sized 1 up from true, hemmed a little shorter than i shouldve in hindsight. Also probably would have gone 1 down in the waist, but as everyone says, the first pair you always have regrets. I could barely fit into the damn things and i sized 1 up, so i don't even....SJDBT. Worn for 2 and a half-3 months.

Hey guys, does anyone know the sizing difference between APC's and Nudies? I'm a true waist of 29, but wear 30's in Nudies Slim Jim (probably could have gone 29, but it was my first pair, live and learn). When i tried on a pair of 28 APC PS's i literally couldn't pull them up over my butt, but i know youre supposed to size down at least 2 for most APC's....dunno what to do. I have large hips relative to my waist (29 waist 37 hip) and pants have always been an issue :/

I'm considering just soaking the Nudies. Would that accelerate fading at all? Or would that be a mistake

My first and only pair of raw's is a pair of Nudie SJ's that i've worn for about 3 months...there's practically no fading. Are Nudies harder to fade than most other raw denim, or what? I see 3 month APC's and i'm like wtf is this shit, ain't gonna match that for 3 years :/ Love em but i wish they'd fade faster..

Here are the pics i said i'd put up. It's pretty much as described, ~.5in shrink in the waist and just under 3 inches in the inseam

I'd honestly size down one. I did and its still pretty baggy, although tight in the waist.

Picked up a pair during black friday of rigid 501 STF's sized down one (real: 29x30, bought, 28x34).

Shit is baggy as fuck. I think Levi's changed the fit. It barely goes around my waist but you could put another half leg in each pant leg. Also i'm 2 hours into a very hot soak and i have literally no indigo loss, the water is crystal clear...very bizarre. Hopefully shrinkage will still occur. Not sure if the total lack of indigo loss is good or bad...i'd say good but i'm worried about how it will now fade. On the bright side the color is very close to most raw denim, instead of the brighter blue.

edit: Finished my 4 hour soak with boiling water re-heats. Used a clear glass and cupped out some of the water, it looks crystal clear still. I'm gonna hang dry them now (11:00 PST) inside and i imagine they will still be damp tomorrow, at which point i will hang them outside to finish drying. Will take comparison pictures (i actually got sent two pairs by mistake so i can compare exactly)

They're dried. Measurements presoak were 28x34, post 4 hour soak they are 27.5x31.25 Was hoping for a lot more shrinking in the length, 31.25 is a bit too long (30 is cuffable for me, so this is too much) and in general. Width of the leg opening is maybe half an inch less tops, so shrinkage in general was minimal. As for color, the yare actually darker post soak than they were pre-soak, i'll upload pics eventually.

Basically they are too loose for me to wear despite sizing down 1. For reference, i wear nudies slim jims 30 waist and they fit me quite tight at first until they streteched out, so i think the fit on Levi's is very strange. My nudies fit pretty much perfectly in cut so i dunno whats up with the levis STF being so baggy when i sized down. Sadface :/ Maybe i'll get them hemmed but even then the seat is super loose even though i have relatively large hips for 29 waist (36.5in hips)
