  1. Luckily, I have a girlfriend who buys me awesome birthday gifts!

Here is the latest, Tender 204 belt in brown. Unfortunately the size 3 seems to fit a bit too small. In exchanging emails with William, what a fantastic help he's been (honestly), we both agree that the belt should stretch over time. My only concern, is that a bit of stretch won't be enough. That being said, I can't seem to find a size 4 in brown ANYWHERE, and if any of you have an idea where I might be able to, please share.

A few pictures here, what do you guys think? I personally think it looks a bit awkward as it sits now:

Keep in mind that I never tuck my shirt in, and did so for the sake of these photos.

Maybe I should exchange for a 4 in tan?

    Always in thanks.

I happen to have the same belt in a size 4 in tan. PM me.

  2. Hello all,

Been following this thread for a while now. I have a few tender pieces, the logwood 900 with wool lining, some socks, and a pair of wattle tan 138s.

I was wondering what peoples experiences with soaking the dyed jeans? I understand they probably won't shrink much more? Mine are slightly loose around the waist, it would be great if they would shrink just a little!

Any one got experience with this?

    Thanks!

To my experience, my 129 woad dyed jeans shrank a tiny bit after washing but it quickly stetched back to normal size within a wear.

My 129 shorts with the new twill fabric felt a little shorter as well after the wash.

  3. Live and let dye my brothers!!

    Love, peace, and mutton grease!

Said the person who threw the first punch.

"Leave for a few posts and come back to a whole lotta man sass. Meooww."

  4. And you have some issues with basic understanding of the English language.

    Move on, son.

Is that all you've got? A quippy remark to sum up the point of your trolling presence?

Yeah, I WILL move on. I hope you too.

  5. Actually, you hadn't. Instead, what came across was rather a smug superiority. Or at least a bored effort at it.

You're rather new here to be giving it the big I am, aren't you?

Ironic, seeing how you're trying to sound superior yourself, questioning my longevity here.

"Basically, you order one size up from your pants size."

If that wasn't answering his question, you have some issues with basic understanding on the english language.

I guess sometimes you can judge a person by their avatar.

  6. Is there a way to get measurements of the standard belts? Middle hole to fold? Remember trying a 3 on a long time ago but it didn't make sense to me....measurement of size 2 vs 3?

We already answered the question a few pages back.

Basically, you order one size up from your pants size.

  7. Should I just bite the bullet and make that Calico Stripe Butterfly Shirt my first piece from Tender?! I keep going back to the listing on Hickoree's, looks to be ideal!

I'm about 5'8" tall, 160 lbs. Any recommendations on sizing?

I'm 5'9 and 155 and I wear size 2. The shirt is described as a relaxed fit so you should be safe.

  8. Wow!! Can we make something happen like this in the US sometime?

The pictures look so rad! Must be neat to see everyone and how they wear things differently in person. (Ei. Inside out apron, oversized side strap jeans)

    I second this!!

    Hint hint, NYC. ;)

  9. Oh there is something else I want to ask you. The fabric on your regular pjyama pants... I saw a shirt version on superdenim and I was wondering which size to get. Do they shrink in the wash? I'm not exactly delicate on my clothes... wearing and washing wise.

  10. Great that you got a pair of pyjama pants- thank you! Sorry if they're a bit tight. The elastic is pretty firm, but should stretch out comfortably. I have a pair of size 4 (sample size) and I wear size 5 jeans but am fine with the 4s as pyjamas: they pinch a bit of I wear them with nothing underneath, as underwear, but with boxers underneath they're great. The elastic will soften up a bit after a few washes, so unless they're the wrong size through the rest of the garment I'd say you should give the a chance.

Yeah, thanks. I'm wearing them right now. Though it's only going to be for short periods of time, hopefully, they'll stretch to size once the tempurature goes up to the 60's here. And I gotta say: I love the fabric. I'm making it a mission of mine to collect every different fabric you have. Next purchase, your shorts.
