Have you seen any of the expos, I'm sorta curious but can't really judge right now. I'd love to see the book itself, web images without the right editing and disposition can tell a much different story.

pretty sure I've tried on the white version of this jacket, fit is nice and comfy (there's some slight stretch in the fabric iirc) and construction seemed solid from the few moments I spent with it

thank you for the insight. I'm torn between size 48 and 50, trying to obtain a medium sizing (US). found the same jacket here and the model wore size 48 (183 CM in height). I'm a skinny build but a tad bit shorter in height.

In search of a black denim jacket, specifically one that is slim-fitting. should I roll with the one below?

what are the thoughts on ksubi's 'black lies' chitch denim? it's 11oz japanese stretch denim and categorized as 'slim-taper' (although the van winkles fit close to super skinny). I've been told in the past that ksubi denim is simply not worth the price?

^ i'm kicking myself after passing him up in my draft. everyone was talking about how bad a summer league he had, and that he had bad shooting. he then goes on to jack up 4 threes his first game.

 

i knew he was the only pg on the sixers, with a similar situation already happening last season with damian lillard (we know how that turned out which makes my decision to pass on him even worse lol)

I had my doubts with mcw, but he should flourish this year (aside from a couple off-night's). it's going to be more interesting to see what happens when turner is out of the picture in the immediate future. I like to believe mcw has the potential to turn into a solid producer like mike conley (I.E. steals being the strongest asset). lillard still has a much higher ceiling, and owners should definitely temper their expectations as mcw continues to develop his game.

edit: I would be kicking myself if I wasn't able to get oladipo at a discount this year... nelson is bound to be traded, right?! 

does Ice Cold NY fit into the discussion regarding urban techwear? the brand itself specializes in 3M with their designs, for added visibility (cycling). they have a 3M windbreaker on the way, affordable for streetwear demands...

it's usually true to size with the max, but is it the same option with the ace? is a 34" inseam the way to go with the ace cash?

Disappointed with how much my Acne cash have faded after 1 wash. I like the fit of ace but wouldn't recommend paying retail for them.

That was actually the pair I was shooting for next. I've heard about the fading, but I never assumed it would be that significant. Is there a online site to get them below retail? How many wears did you get in before the first wash?

Do you guys have any recommendations for a tailor service that is able to handle selvedge denim and regular washed denim? I live all the way from Florida, but I simply don't have much trust in these local tailors.

I've been a silent creeper to this thread, indulging in the whole aesthetics of 'urban techwear'. I came across some great guides, and for that I have been thankful. My only concern right now is exactly what purchases would be deemed as neccessities when it comes to regional differences? The temperatures over here rarely drop down, and it remains relatively humid all year long. How practical are some of these jackets, in the broad spectrum of things?

I've attempted to do some research with Dior Homme denim, and I've gathered some nice knowledge about certain cuts/styles of interest. However, I'm still kind of confused on the sizing of the Dior Homme Black Clawmark 19cm MIJ model.

In APC new standard raw's, I am a size 28. In Nudies washed denim, I usually wear a size 30 for a comfortable fit (but 29 would fit more snug). In W+H chinos, I'm comfortable in a size 29. Now with Dior MIJ 19cm black raw's, you're supposed to size down 2-3 since it'll stretch. Do I attempt the same with clawmarks? I've seen lightly worn clawmarks in the rare size of 27 measure my waist of 15.5"/39cm. Would size 28 do the trick when it comes to attaining comfort? Do I take into consideration the season that the clawmarks come from? I've generally heard that the older seasons fit smaller, so would that mean anything from '07 and under?

definitely don't think they are all that waxy or shiny. I'm not big on black-based denim, but I would consider these if I were looking for a pair for a decent price. might want to research a bit more and see if you can get something better
