I have a very slightly worn pair of 3Sixteen CT-100x Size 32. I probably wore them for less than a week and they have practically no wear other than slight honeycombs starting on the back (see photos).

They were chain stitch hemmed by Self Edge. The inseam is now 31.5" (32" if you stretch it a bit). I'm 6'2" and this allows for about a 1" cuff as I like it.

These are great pants. I liked the tapered leg but the thigh and butt are just a little to full for me.

Like new. No washes or soaks.

Satchelbmoor: yes, that is what is happening. I do like the jeans in every other way... That's why I'm hoping they can be taken in and that will fix it.

The JGM's I bought were hard to button when new and the waist stretched out to a comfortable width after a couple months of wear.. If use my thumb at my side and gently pull out I have about 1-1.25" of room. The Ankaras were looser to begin with so there was less stretching but after two weeks of daily wear they are at about the same 1-1.25" of room.

I was going to take them to get taken in after a bit of wear (and frankly shedding a few lbs). I'm just worried that might not fix the problem since it doesn't seem like they are really too lose (the JGM's did it even before they stretched). Or, that the back might look funny after.

So, I'm new to raw denim. My first pair was a pair of Tellason John Graham Mellor. After a few months of wearing I decided I need to to switch to the Ankara because the Mellor's were too tight in the thigh... I could never comfortably bend over to pick things up or sit.

I've had the Ankara's for a couple weeks now and they are much better. The fit is great, with one exception. After wearing for a few minutes, the back up near the waist gets all bunched up. It's like it's folding over itself from underneath. This also happened with Mellor's so I'm not sure if it's just something with the Tellason cut.

Here's a picture to show what's happening. Is this something that can be fixed if I had them tailor it or would it make the back look strange?
