flathead is hairiest denim i've ever owned, much hairier than the cone/roy denims i have...also the hairiness lasts like maybe 10 wears??

Personally, i think the arms fit fine. it's the combination of the baggy arms and fitted chest that looks a little off. regardless, i'll definitely have to check these out when i'm down in san fran later this summer

hahaha, then i'd look silly even when i'm not wearing the sweatshirt, and i'd have to gain like 10 inches or something in the bicep

i think you can see a little bit what i'm talking about in the model from the SE page...a little too much fabric on the bicep

i like the feeling of the SG sweatshirt, but mine is too baggy in the bicep area :/

anyone else have this problem? does it go away w/ wash? i soaked mine before getting it but never washed it

thanks for the info. all the pictures of the worn pairs with gulls i like must be the hand painted ones, i guess i'll have to wait around until i find a pair.

Not sure if it could be called paint. It's the rubbery paint from their production stamping, more like a super heavy screen print. Probably the same stuff on your 2008, unless they've changed the materials they used.

how to tell if an evisu has that kind of rubbery paint or the kind that will come off with wear?

Maybe this isn't a great comparison, but I currently own a pair of iron heart 634s in sz 31 and they are bordering on a relaxed fit. I'm looking for a slim-straight fit (with thighs not too tight)...does anyone have any recommendations for flathead models/sizes?
