    Size: Small.

Colour: Blue W/ Red & White Windowpane.

    Composition: 100% Cotton.

    Condition: 9.5/10.

Casual blazer/jacket from cult Japanese label Engineered Garments, in a blue windowpane check with white and red accents. Jacket is largely unlined with just a small buggy lining below the neckline. Shoulders are unstructured, and it has two patch pockets on the front body, along with a small chest pocket.

It is a three-button cut, with a slightly higher break for the top button that means it can be worn as a traditional blazer (using the middle button) or more of a work-wear style chore-jacket (using the top button). Looks great with a shirt, crew-neck knit or just a tee underneath, and works really well with jeans or chinos.

Jacket is in excellent condition, with only very light wear. I originally purchased it for a business trip, and my work rarely requires me to wear a blazer so it just hasn't been used as much as I would like. Made in New York, it was purchased from The Bureau in Belfast for 260 pound + shipping ($450 NZ). Just looking for it to go to a good home.

    Measurements (approx.):

    Pit to Pit: 49CM.

    Shoulder to Shoulder: 49CM.

Back Collar to Bottom Hem: 60CM.

    Shoulder to Cuff: 70CM.

    Asking Price: $135 USD.

  2. Hoping someone can help with sizing - I've got a Composite and a blazer from fall and am a small in both. Looking to add either a Field or Paritition to the wardrobe, but wanting it to be able to go over a suit. Should I size up to a M? Also - would an insulated field jacket be over-the-top warmth with a suit underneath? Anyone with any experience wearing Veilance in this way?

    Composition: 100% Cotton.

    Condition: 9.5/10.

This is a fantastic casual jacket that really shows the Veilance label’s attention to detail and innovative use of fabrics. The blazer is deceptively simple from the exterior, with a slim fit concealing trimmed and taped seams designed to reduce weight and minimize bulk. It has a snap front closure, hidden vertical hand pockets with a laminated facing, and a collar that can be worn up or folded flat. Schoeller reinforced cuffs and hem, articulated elbows, gusseted underarms, and a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish round out what is an amazing piece.

Purchased in Tokyo in January 2013, it has been worn a maximum of five times and is still in near new condition. Due to a heavy rotation of other Veilance pieces in my wardrobe, it deserves to go to someone who will wear it and enjoy it.

The blazer will be supplied with the Veilance suit bag and original hanger as pictured.

    Measurements (approx.):

    Pit to Pit: 52CM.

Back Collar to Bottom Hem: 71.5CM.

    Shoulder to Cuff: 63CM.

A beautiful utilitarian design from Ricardo Tisci’s Givenchy. A more sombre tone of green to the jungle green variants, this shirt features a subtle built-in tie loop, as well as a mixed fabric collar detail. It has a fantastic slim fit and is very easily paired with jeans or dress trousers. A really versatile piece. It has been worn a maximum of 5 times, and has been dry-cleaned according to cleaning instructions. Purchased in Tokyo in January 2013.

    Ann Demeulemeester Goat Leather Boots.

    DSCF5471.jpg

Size: 42.5 (Runs Large, fine for a 43).

    Colour: Black.

    Composition: Goats Leather.

    Condition: 6.5/10.

Purchased from Wunderkamer, the sole Ann Demeulemeester menswear stockist in New Zealand, these are the classic Ann dress boot shape. The goats leather is used to great effect with the shaft and upper ridiculously supple and the toebox and heel fashioned out of a sturdier leather. Features include a stacked wooden heel and the original extra-long laces. These have been well-cared for their entire life; regularly treated with a Coxy creme to keep the leather soft and conditioned, and resoled by my cobbler every season pre-Winter (they come with a TOPY rubber sole and heel cap fitted). They still have a lot of life left and I'm reluctant to let them go as they were an investment piece. But, I've been favouring another pair of lace-ups and with a trip to Japan pending, it's time to clear some room in the wardrobe. Can be shipped in the original box by request.

    Measurements:

Outsole Length (at longest point): 30.5CM.

Outsole Width (at widest point): 11CM.

Bottom Heel to Shaft Top: 19CM.

    SOLD.

    Damir Doma Asymetric Bomber Jacket.

    S0115416.jpg

    S0045401.jpg

    Size: 46 (Oversized fit; 46 - 48).

    Colour: Black.

Composition: 100% Wool W/ Cotton Lining.

    Condition: 9/10.

A stunning signature piece from one of Damir's early mainline collections, purchased from Campbell at Darklands Berlin in January 2010. Condition is 9/10 - jacket has been worn but kept in immaculate condition. Features a heavy banded bottom hem and cuffs, an internal cotton lining with raw hems that hang below the main silhouette, and horn buttons with signature cotton taping throughout. The jacket also features two buttoned pockets on the lower body, and one breast pocket. The heavy wool body is very warm, and in combination with the cotton lining this is a perfect winter staple. Sits really well undone over tees and light layers, or buttoned up with a scarf or hoodie. A seriously beautiful piece looking for a good home and some more wear - I'm reluctant to let it go but it's just sitting in the wardrobe given our warmer climes in the Southern hemisphere. Will supply in the original Damir Doma dust bag.

    Measurements:

    Pit to Pit: 60CM (approx).

Back Collar to Bottom Hem: 63CM at shortest point, 80CM at longest (approx).

    Shoulder to Cuff: 67CM (approx).

    $375 USD.

Damir Doma 'Twisted' Pocket Wool Trousers.

    S0055403.jpg

    DSCF5434.jpg

    Size: 44 (Oversized fit; 46 - 48).

    Colour: Black.

    Composition: 100% Wool.

Condition: 6/10 (Small holes on back of lower right leg).

Again, another stunning Damir piece purchased on the same trip to Europe - this time from Damir's original Marais store / atelier in 2010. These trousers aren't as asymmetric as some of his later relaxed fits became, and are cut from a wonderfully light wool that is a joy to wear. Great 'twisted' pocket detail. The hems are raw but have been reinforced with a small black hem; virtually invisible. Features include two open side pockets, one rear pocket that closes with a horn button, belt loops, and a zip fly with signature cotton tape pull and metal pull tag. There are two small holes on the back of the lower right leg as pictured. Assume these could be easily mended by a reliable tailor, or they could be shortened into cropped pants or shorts. However, this flaw is reflected in the price. Will supply with the original trouser hanger as pictured.

    Measurements:

    Waist: 41CM (approx).

    Leg (Inseam) Hem: 78CM (approx).

    Cuff: 19CM (approx).

    SOLD.
