Problem is it got saturated with mediocrity. And the big names in the game follow suit- moving production to China, saving on fabrics, etc etc. Just another sign of our times. Everything's shallow, superficial, but fast and in constantly overwhelming dosage. Quantity over quality. So many players in the game, none of which are really a go-to brand (Vis is not that brand for the aforementioned reasons- price points, availability/accessibility, strange fit) and vast majority not even half-decent

Yeah, outside of Japan it's pretty much a bust. Eventhough current FW16 is strong and quite refreshed.. too little stars/celebrities exposure I guess. Today it means everything. It would be enough to Kanye rock some V for 2-3 months and the interest would sky rocket. Sad world we live in

For me that down sanjuro is basically an autumn item or something I'd wear under a jacket (PFD?). Maybe even under down jacket if it gets freaking cold (as it does each season here).

Fycus: agreed, it's a big improvement vs what we've seen last year, but as I discussed with Rich- from a standpoint of a person owning many V pieces, it's not a collection I'd drop heavy cash on. Maybe 2-3 items and that's it. Good news on Valdez sesame street thingie being optional, ND Valdez is something I might want to cop.

Down Sanjuro is pretty awesome, the rest is boring. Good for our wallets. 

Oh and good job on fucking up Valdez, making such a nice jacket unwearable for this season's edition. Way to go Hiroki san
