  1. it's hard to say if it will be a rainy 10 days but regardless you'll probably be fine in some leather sneakers, just stay away from mesh--running shoes. hope to see you in the shop!

Right on, much appreciated. Count on it. We're looking forward to stopping in.

  2. Packing for PDX, 10 day trip in May. Generally speaking, I'll be mostly city-trekking with friends... will I need to scoop a pair of all-weather kicks/boots (in case of deluge) or, will that money be better spent on Norse Projects Keds and other assorted things at The Woodlands? Just wondering if I can mostly wing it with spring sneaks and the like...

  3. I don't know, the last couple Supreme caps I bought, I found to be much deeper than they'd been in the past, circa 2005. Perhaps it depends on the fabric? I don't know, I just don't find them to be shallow at all. I was thinking of picking up one of the ONLY waxed 5-panels.

  4. There used to be a time when 5-panels were lower-profile caps, as they should be. Long before every douche-canoe wore Supreme caps, their caps had great silhouettes, you could pull them down low and they didn't come all the way down over your fucking ears. Look if you have a massive dome, then perhaps that's your thing. I am of average head size a 7 in fitted caps. These days every 5-panel i try on is super deep, to the point I feel like a 15 year old. Which brings me to the point. Is there anyone making a cool, more low-profile 5-panel, preferably with minimal branding? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers.

  5. Just got my APCs back from Steven and I have to say his tailoring is impeccable. Truly something to behold. I entrusted him with one of my nearest and dearest pair of jeans, as someone butchered the selvedge some time ago. He restored the proper selvedge line, fixed the hem, chainstitched, proper height, etc... Excellent correspondence throughout, and prompt shipping back. Couldn't have asked for more. I'll surely be sending some other jeans his way, highly recommended.
