  1. thanks for the fit comments guys! actually wore them for the 1st time in months yesterday cuz I was having my Rogue Territory Stantons hemmed and found I dig them when I wear them with my rodlavers or vans.....last time I was wearing them I had my RedWing 875's on, so that made them seem insanely skinny! Thinking I may keep them around to wear with my low profile tennis shoes...

  2. i thought the fit was pretty good, but you want a bit more room then?

haven't had the time to take pics yet, but mine is sz28 yellow selvage and it's a lot roomier than yours, i'm too damn skinny.

yea, they're just a bit too tight in the thigh and get pretty tight when I sit down.....wish I woulda went with a 31 from the start because these have really nice fades going on now and it took a lot of wear to get them to soften up

Here's some fit pics of the 77's I have listed for sale.....a tad too small for me, need to go up to the 31

Sorry for the crap pic quality, only full length mirror I have is in my basement weight room and its filthy/dark down there and I was too lazy to embed the full-res images
  4. thanks for all the replies guys! I ended up ordering 5 tees from Everlane and am enjoying the softness/cut and of course the price! perfect weight for the summer.

if anyone is curious, the velva sheens are a lot thicker but a tighter cut in the size medium. the baldwin is definitely the best material of the three USA brands I have recently purchased, but for the price I paid it better be!

I'd love to find some other henleys in a thin summery material, if anyone has some suggestions it would be greatly appreciated

  5. i think choctaw ridge might be what you're after- same guy that does left field: http://store.choctawridgenyc.com/

choctaw is similar to what I'm looking for, actually the only brand I was able find before posting this thread, but they only make a boxer brief....I'm lookin for straight up briefs!

thanks for the other brand suggestions guys, I'll do some looking around.

Like I expected, a fair amount of people seem to think I'm crazy for caring about undies, but I really think a nice fitting soft material would be amazing under a thick pair of raw.

  6. I never seem to see any of the indy shops carrying undies, so I don't have a clue as to good high end manufacturers? Am I the only crazy guy looking for undies that go well with a pair of Raw denim?

Right now, I'm wearing some Territory Ahead pair that's decent because its an indigo color but I would like to find some nice well made briefs! (preferably made in the USA, but will settle for anything at this point)

Can't stand the department store brands ie CK, Tommy, etc.... not looking for tighty whities just well made non-flashy quality! I'd also like some thicker pairs for the fall/winter but haven't seen anything that fits the bill.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

  7. has anyone had any luck removing the thread "loop" on the back pocket of a pair of raw with a seam ripper? its a little too western for my tastes and appears to only be sewed half-way down the pocket....ideally I'd like to re-thread it straight but would settle for it not being there.

EDIT: Had a few IPA's a couple days after posting this and decided to give it a go! Couldn't find a seam-ripper so I used one of my wife's dental explorer tools with a sharp hook and was able to pull each of the stiches up enough to get a very tiny scissors under it and individually trim each of them.....I was able to just trim the loop! Stiching is a bit crooked because it was meant to contour to the loop but I feel it looks tremendously better! I may at some point rip the rest of it out and make it dead straight....but for now, I'm just glad to not have the loop!

  8. ordered some velva sheens and a Baldwin Henley from NeedSupply....would love to find some other henley's and crews/v's and am willing to expand the search to companies outside the USA as long as its more artisan stuff and not hugely commercial places.

    Thanks for any tips!
