^^^ Vest afficionado here.
Don't go through airports with them - they're a pain in the arse and are a perfect excuse for a jumped up security dude to take too much of an interest in you. Happened to me a couple of times until I gave in///
I use a filson fly fishing vest I've got loads (when not in airports). Admittedly I look twattish but my general vibe is 'weird-uncle-fly-fishing-in-space' at the best of times, so nothing new there.

That vest is ace. I've got a small collection of weird old vintage military wear, I've got one in that design but in a french desert DPM. Not wearable.

Outlier pants have pretty low rise.
Cheers - I worried that might be the case.

Hi all,
Asking here as the Outlier thread is a bit dead. I fancy a pair of the future works pants but I'm UK based. Duty Calculator tell me I'll pay £35 quid duties, so with shipping I'll be paying about £140. Are they worth that extra? My interest in techwear is particularly add at durability and wear anywhere, less so on movement. I'm no athlete!
Secondly - how high is the waist? I like a loose pant so I tend to favour higher waist cuts that work well sized up - doesn't work if you size up on a hip cut.
Anyone's thoughts'd be great.

^black of those are mega.
There's a writer called Warren Ellis that has a writing blog on www.morning.computer who mentioned these in his latest newsletter:
http://sdrtraveller.com/products/d3-traveller
Not cheap but fairly interesting from a design point.

Bit of a weird one, but can anyone remember where this photo comes from:

Fella was discussed on here a while ago, maybe a Twitter account?

^same brand/affiliated if I remember correctly.
Now you say it I think that's a Spectus logo on the box in the image actually.

These new Foot The Coacher x Nepenthes shoes are kinda funky. Not my thing personally, but definately have some of that urban tech thing going on. Twist on the rear end to tighten them.
Spectus make an absolute killer shoe with a boa closure:

Watershed make some seriously wild and user-specific shit. Nice buy.
Yeah cheers - I'd always thought they were on a shiny Ortlieb type tip but the muted colours are great.
I've got a question about 'durable' pants - if I'm not too concerned about stretch what sort of options are out there? I've just got some Engineered Garments NYCO fatigues as I've read good things about NYCO. Outlier have discontinued their NYCO's but is there anything else?

We've not had much bag chat other than ACRNM here so thought I'd add this in:
Recently got one of these Watershed's
and I'm really chuffed with it - good shape and comfortable, size varies nicely because of the roll top and the seal/zip lock function is great once you get the hang of it. I take the straps off and lug it like a short handled tote occasionally too.
I'd have bought the charcoal off them directly if I was in the states but didn't fancy the taxes. I think they do some pretty cool stuff with radio waves in the construction for added tech points.

Received some Slim Dungarees I bought off eBay in indigo, 32 and I've decided they're not quite for me (bit slim) - anyone want them before I send the back eBay's way? Condition 9/10 (no wear or fraying or 'tiredness'), £90 shipped worldwide from UK, will make sure import duties are avoided if you're overseas.
Drop me a PM.

Now listed on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141251407431
Shop images: https://www.theburea...th-fatigue-pant
in a small ( to fit 30-32 waist belted, I'm a 31), £150 shipped worldwide from England accepting offers.
Love them, but not going to wear them realistically as I've got the blue and the khaki too.
I've worn them once, no stretching or damage and not washed yet - basically new with tags.
Also have for sale a pair of Outlier Slim Dungarees, 32 in Indigo, 8.5/10 condition (no wear or fraying or stretching). £90 ono shipped worldwide, will try and help avoid customs duties.

Picked up the new Fatigue Pants in black/grey houndstooth, absolutely ace. Just hoping to manage a navy rips top pair too now before they vanish everywhere.

Sorry to derail a bit - anyone have any experience with Uniqlo stretch jeans? They any good as 'Outlier-lite' pants for knocking about in?
