Yeah, I had them a year before I decided to get them altered. Measured them laying flat, also the tailor rang me to confirm sizes before he altered them, he also measured 36" waist.

He said the only thing to be aware of is the back pockets will be closer together.

I took some proper fit pics of my 3109s.. still kinda regretting the waist and why in the world I'd ever go with a 30. I can literally fit my damn fist in them.

I wasn't happy with the waist on my 34" 2109s, they measured 36", I got them reduced to a 33.5". They are now perfect, I'll put some pictures up when I get chance.

I live in the UK and got them done at Denim Doctor in Manchester, maybe a bit too expensive to send here but to me worth every penny. I'm now 100% happy with mine.

I regretted getting a 34" waist but I couldn't have gone any slimmer in the thigh so it worked out for the best in the end.

A little update, got my 2109's last March (picture on post 768), my first pair of premium denim so I saved them for best, wearing them the odd day here and there.

Something clicked a couple of weeks ago and I realised I'd got this raw denim thing completely wrong, from that day I haven't had them off even biking to work in them.

They literally looked like new so I've done more wear in the last 2 weeks than the previous 10 months, anyway I've seen the light now so should see some progress

Got my first ever pair of decent denim, 2109's.

I absolutely love them and definitely have the denim bug

Just about to get some 2109's but I'd be grateful for a bit of advice regarding size, I've read through this full thread but still a bit unsure and as I live in the UK exchanging them would be a pain.

I'm a 34" waist but not sure whether to go for a 33" or a 34" any suggestions?
