Called my bank and said the first transaction went through and money was taken from my account, but no confirmation from Uniqlo..

Here fit pics. These are L, Im 6ft 85ish kg atm. jean size is 32. Its hard to see the details so I bumped exposure and contrast a bit which makes them look washed out but they are black.
I agree with homi, Not all that special but good for $40. if you were looking for some sweats anyway may as well get the fashiony ones.
How much do the waistband stretch?
Like Homi29 said, might have to size up on the sweaters since they run a little small

wg are as low rise as they come . . . skinny have a higher rise, but will shrink down some after a wash / soak . . .
Most WGs ive seen have higher rises than SGs... According to Blueowl and Tate+Yoko anyway

Looking at either the Greencast or Natural Indigo Revival in Skinny Guys, which would naturally have better fades if im using them to work outdoors in the summer?

Noob question about soaking, if i get a pair of raw Samurais and get a 34 waist and then soak how much shrinkage should i expect on the waist, leg opening, inseam etc.
Also after hot soaking a pair of raw denims will they stretch back to their original sizing? ie. waist, leg opening, inseam etc

I would recommend Japan Blue as your first pair, only $200 and very great jeans. I've tried them all on. and if really slim is what you're going for momotaro isn't your brand. especially the copper labels. Read through the thread you will see pics and descriptions of how they fit. I would strongly reccommend these

Jay is the best to work with, and if your on the west coast take a trip up to bellevue and go to his show room. Amazing collection. I finally settled on the new collab but went there wanting the new copper labels.
Nice, thanks.
I've been browsing through Blue owl's page forever and this is the first time i seen these. Will definitely be picking up a pair

I see a lot of advice to go TTS on the S710xx, but a lot people who do seem to be disappointed in the fit. of course, it depends on the fit you are going for, but i'm really starting to think that the best way to properly size most jeans is by the thigh measurement rather than the waist measurement. my true waist (or at least the measurement where my jeans sit on my hips) is 35", but all my jeans are size 33. For the longest time, i assumed my waist was 33" because size 33 always fit me best, it wasn't until i got into the whole raw denim thing that i actually bothered to measure my waist. most jeans that i know of will stretch plenty in the waist, even my 23 oz. iron hearts stretched easily enough. you can find my fit pics on this thread, the iron heart thread, and the hdc thread and judge for yourself. it's not like i like my jeans skin tight. i just pay the most attention to the thigh measurement when deciding which size to order.
I'm not trying to contradict anyone else, i'm just sharing what i've discovered in my journey.
Good advice, how much would you say the waist usually stretch? Im a 35-36 waist but have bigger thighs.. Im looking to get the S003JP with a 34 waist.
And where to they usually measure the thigh? Right under the crotch?

^momoxblueowl collabo! more tapered fit than tight straight momotaro basic cut
http://www.blueowl.us/scripts/psp/VB_Bridge3.dll?VBPROG=\bin\shop.prodt.detail&SKU=7932000
Thanks but wear a 34, and according to Blueowl and other sites, the 0705SP are slimmer than the Blu owl x Momotaro collab denim..
I noticed that the 0705SP have different measurement on different sites. Is this because they were soaked prior?

Want to pick up a pair of Momotaros, so im guessing "Tight Straight" is their slimmest cut?
thought i'd share these
fit is a lot better than when i first posted pictures of these a few months back
4 months of solid wear
sorry for the awkward pose
Are these the 0705SP? The leg openings are a little too loose for me..
Would you recommend having Momotaro's leg openings altered?

Thanks for the replies, definetely looking at S003JPs

New to Samurai jeans, which would be their skinniest cut with a small leg opening?
