Can anyone help me out with sizing for the JB0601 Hi-Tapered cut?
How much does these stretch?
I can easily button up 29s, they'd be fine if they wont' stretch. They'll look too big, if they stretch out.
The leg of the 28s are perfect, the top block is very snug, but I can button them up with some effort. In this state they are pretty uncomfortable.

Alright then, I probably just have to find out myself.

I started to wear my 0401 and gosh how I hate the first couple of days.
Could anyone give me a rough idea how much they'll stretch and how long it takes?
I can button them up with a some effort but they haven't stretched out even after some 8 hours of walking/sitting around..

Oh my. I can't tell why I haven't found it. Thanks!

Can anybody tell what happened to the Okayama Spirit Fading Contest?

Super Skinny Guy size 30.
I guess they fade pretty easily/nicely. I just wore them for less than 14 days and the whiskers are already coming off in a light blue.

Yeah, those will not fit post shrink.
Here are some pictures of the Okayamas post-soak.

Pre Soak // Post Soak measurements of some Skinny Guy Okayamas in size 30. I soaked them hand-hot for 30 minutes.
Waist (from left to right): 14,5" // 13,5"
RIse: 9" // 8,5"
Thigh: 10" // 9,6"
Leg Opening: 6,5" // 6,3"
Inseam: 32,5" // 31,5"
Never thought of having some worries about a short inseam with my height being 5'8'' / 69,7"1 -
No I didn't go true to size.
I am also wearing a pair of Japan Heritage in the Weird Guy Cut and size 29. These got too big for me so I ordered the Okayamas in size 30.
I think I'll wear them a week straight and then decide how to soak depending on the amount of stretch.
Actually I'm quite confident this will work, because it's a loose weave.

Okayamas came in today.
They fit decently from the knee downwards but a bit tight in the waist and thigh area.
It wasn't ultra hard to button them up but took me some effort. They can also be somewhat roomier in the waist and thigh area. Not much but still a little bit.
I'm not sure how I should soak them concerning the temperature. Do you think they will stretch out to a little bit more than pre-soak measurements when I soak them warm or should I cold soak? (Which I actually don't want to, because I wanna wash them with warm water after a while..)
They sure need to be a bit looser than right now..
Sorry for the blurred pictures.

^^Nordic Denim House still has some NF x Onis in stock. I think from size 28, 30, 31, if anyone is searching for them.

I contacted Le Bel Homme and they told me they'd receive the new collection within the next week. Hopefully the Okayama Spirit can compete with the Oni Collabo/Japan Heritage..

Yes, that sounds good as well.
I'll probably give them a go, I just gotta talk to the shop about the price.Thank you again!

I got the NFXONI weird guy and found them to be sized as normal WG meaning the sizing doesn't account for the shrinkage. A size 30 normal sanforized WG measures the same as the unsanforized NFXONI. I thought I may never be able to wash/soak but they have now Stretched a size past original size so I may get away with a cold wash/soak when the time comes.
However(!) you do have to consider the inseam and rise. The leg is a 34. your going to lose an inch even on a cold soak so if your normal inseams over a 32 your in trouble and the rise is tiny and it ain't going to get any bigger with wear!
Thank you. I really appreciate any help. To cut it down your Onis stretched back out after soaking to pre-soak measurements (and oven more), is that right?
I forgot to mention that the short inseam isn't a problem. I also thought the rise could be a problem but the Onis have almost the same as the LHT super skinny guys which I tried on and they were comfortable.
My only problem is, that I probably can't return them..

Thanks you for your quick reply but I already checked Van Lieblings website and they only have one WG in 33 in stock.
I want to try 31. cultizm is an option but I don't like the fact to order something just to try it on, thats not fair against the team.
Maybe I will try crämer & co and buy something else for purpose if there is no other way.
Crämer & Co is great. My favourite shop in Nürnberg. Why don't you just measure a well fitting jeans and compare it to the weird guys?

Sorry I need your help once more. I'm currently searching a new pair of denim as my japan heritage wg 29 got, unfortunately or fortunately, too big for me.
With the beginning of my search I thought about a pair of Super Skinny Guys LHT, cause I also wanted a slimmer look. I had the chance to try them on in size 29 and they fitted nicely. I could button them up without much effort and the fit throughout the leg was very good.
After some research I stumbled over the N&F x Oni collabo (again) and love the fabric way more than the LHT.I now compared the measurements of the LHT Superskinny Guys (a), the N&F x Oni Weird Guys (Pre-Soaked) (b ) and my current Japan Heritage (c )
(a) have a 30" waist // 9,3" rise // 10,25" thigh
(b ) have a 30" waist // 9,5" rise // 10" thigh
(c ) have a 31" waist // 10" rise // 11" thigh
Actually the comparison looks pretty good but the fact that the Onis are unsanforized worries me. I read that these would stretch back out to pre-soak measurements after some wear but I'm not sure about it.
Can someone help me out and tell me a piece of good advice, it'll be much appreciated!0 -
Thank you guys!
I really love the japan heritage fabric. My previous pair were some deep indigos which I liked, too.
Only three fabrics come in the super skinny guy cut and only the left hand twills would be an option.
This would mean that I should get another brand with a similar fitting.
Can anybody tell me how the LHT fade in general?
I read that they are a lot softer..0 -
is here anybody with a pair of left hand twills in the super skinny guy cut?
my problem is the following: Currently I wear a pair of Japan Heritage in the weird guy cut, size 29. (Un)fortunately I lost some pounds so they got too big. I'd also like to have a more fitted look so I tried on a pair of LHT in the super skinny guy cut in size 29 (they had no 28 in stock) which fitted perfectly in the leg but I could button them up to the top. They fitted snug but not that problematic.
I'm now torn between size 28 and 29. I'm afraid that the leg of the 28s won't stretch that much and that they'd end up looking like a legging and a size 29 which will be too big in the waist.
Has anyone any experience with the LHT? How much do they stretch and will they stretch noticably in the leg?
Due to the fact I'm from Germany they have to fit first try.
Thank you guys!
P.S. here's how my JH fit to give you a rough idea:

Japan Heritage. A little bit more than 8 months in.

I hate how the fibres break at the edges of the doublecuff at a certain point of not having washed the jeans. It just doesn't look clean.
Has anybody an idea to avoid this? maybe just soaking the part of the double cuff?

Japan Heritage hitting the 6 months mark.
Too bad one can't see the whiskers and the honeycombs but I'll take some more pictures these days.5 -
Hey,
I'm selling a beautiful Carhartt x A.P.C. Clink Chambray in blue and size medium.
I wore it for less than two hours so it's basically brand new. It just doesn't fit me well..
95 Euro shipped in Germany, add shipping costs to other countries.
Thanks

Edit: Okay, it's the Sup Weather Parka from 2011.
Any ideas of a similar one?
