I have not noticed any problem in the crotch area.

I am starting to see the same thing. The vertical threads are a nice cobalt blue. I hope they come out in full force. I am on week 3 with 16 wears. I plan on taking new photos nxt week.

Tigerstrom, it looks like you nailed the fit. Enjoy the evolution. I can't seem to take mine off. I love the fit and I look forward to seeing how they come along with everyone else's pairs.

TCB
in superdenim
I wear a 30 in the 3009, 30 in Stevenson(too big in the waist, tight on thigh), and I got a 31 in TCB 60's. They fit well. Much looser fit but waist is TTS. If I got the 30 the fit would have been a little better in the top block but too tight in the waist. I am sure it would have stretched but I did not want to endure the discomfort . The 3009's as you know run small so if I could have sized up 1 to a 31 and they would be perfect. My Stevenson's and I do not get along. I love the denim but the fit is not for me. The waist is huge but they are uncomfortable because the thigh and knee are tight. It's a tough game but every now and then I hit a home run.

can't ask for a better look in those Skulls! Is the consensus the Texas cotton is better than the Pima?

yes, the same thing happened to me with my Resolutes and they quickly became my favorites. My taste is changing to this type of fit as opposed to a shorter rise and a greater taper. I am looking forward to the next phase in the evolution when they soften and drape better.

big fan of DeerTick. I have seen them twice.

just got mine at lunch, in the tub now for a hot soak. Went TTS+2, I think the waist is going to be tight. I will need 3 inches of shrinkage in length. Have you guys been getting that?

Say what???

good photo, you have a well curated denim collection. All your pairs look well worn.

I will measure them again. I did not want to undo the cuff because I am trying to set it. I measured right above the cuff.

Thanks! Leg opening is bigger than I expected, but good measurements. Let me know if you consider selling those to get a smaller size. Inseam would probably be high-water on me, but I kind of dig that style at the moment.
That is good to know, I just did a warm wash and I will see if they stretch out too much. The leg opening on these is weird. They measure 7.75 but fit and look like a 7.25. That is what I was saying about Hayashi's fit. I was wondering if he had them tapered because they look like such a small lo when you consider what the measurements are.

Mr. Bielby, they look great. Did you go TTS on these?

Did not get much stretch I think because they were loose to begin with. They fit great evrywhere but loose in the waist and are great with a belt. My thighs are thick and a 30 would have been uncomfortable.

If I'm a 34 in the Warehouse 800 and 33/34 in Fullcount 1101, should I go with 34 or 36 in the Resolute 710? Where, if anywhere, is the 710 cut least generous -- e.g., waist, hips, or thighs?
For me the measurement that is restrictive is the waist. My 31's measure 31 after a warm wash and 2 wears. I should say I thought they would be restrictive but they are TTS. That is the bottom line with these jeans. Remember I bought them raw. What I was reading in the forum was how people were talking about how small the one wash pairs were. One post in particular that worried me was a pair of ow 32's that measured 30.5 in the waist. My pair are very comfortable and will look great when they "fall" but a sz 30 would have been better no doubt. I wear 30 in Samurai 710's, FH 3009(kinda tight), Fullcount 1101's(kinda loose), OKI's( kinda loose but waist was too tight at first), UES400T's( oh, that is wrong- I wear 29's in these) anyway I hope this helps.

I have a pair of the SD507, I sized up 1 to a 31 and they are big in the waist but great everywhere else. I love the fit and look. I like to wear them with sneakers and a t-shirt .

yes , it's a tough call on the size. I do feel a 30 will be a little tight on the waist and the thighs. I will have to wait on the denim to drape more naturally and evolve.
just getting going this morning, will post pw measurements when I get home. I do know that the inseam shrunk 2 inches.

just received my 710's today. I went with the 31's at a 30 length. I put them through a warm wash and hang dry and put them on still damp. I think the length will be perfect, The waist seems good now but I am sure when they stretch out I will have wished I got the 30. I do not mind a slightly loose fit but I can not take a too tight fit. I will try to post a px tomorrow. My initial observation is the fit is a lot like my UES400's but I wear a 29 in those.

I have to wash mine more frequently since I wear them everyday to the office and I am a professional seeing patients. I have three washes already. I plan to post an update this Thursday (1 mo). I am happy with the fit and the fades so far. I notice more and more of that cobalt blue in the sun. I hope this starts to become more predominate. At this point it is very limited and just enough to make my mouth water.
