  1. it's like that for cyclists. having a double zipper (two zip pulls) and having it a little way up can ruin the zip when cycling.

like the design of it nice and clean.

yea that makes sense, although I've never had issues w/ the zipper when biking. Doesn't matter though cos I still bought it haha. Have been looking for a similar-looking shell for a while, with no apparent logos and unnecessary details

  2. agreed, with the stretching you should be good after a few weeks (depending on how often you wear them). That's how things worked out for me (although I only sized down 1 in the ps)

  3. depends a lot on your office culture I guess. I rock my APC ps regularly (w/ cuff) in a business casual environment and it's fine. I see what you mean about wearing jeans that are too tight though, sitting in a chair all day means you appreciate looseness a little more than usual. Not to mention it can look a little "too much" sometimes, especially when you tuck in the shirt IMHO.

Because of this my next pair will probably be a straighter fit, like an APC ns or Baldwin Denim Reed. Interested to see what other suggestions pop up in this thread

  4. it's hard to tell exactly from the fit pic you posted but it seems like you could indeed be able to size down 2. I'd say as long as you can put them on in the store and close a few buttons you'll be good. Mine weren't exactly comfy when I got 'em (though I was able to button up all the way), but they're a lot better now, after just 2 weeks of irregular wearing. Be warned the thighs don't stretch that much though, so make sure you like the fit on that area.

  5. how do you like the rest of the fit? Also try NC and see how those fit. But based off of the waist I would size down

ditto, I would size down at least one

  6. Just wear a belt. The waist fit you described is basically exactly like my pair was when I first got them. They'll stetch some - but not too bad.

    awesome, thanks for the tip

  7. picked up a pair of ps sz 29 about ten days ago. Have been wearing them mostly at home,, then today wore them to work to get them some real-world experience. I typically wear size 30 waist with most denim brands, so I thought I might have to size down to 28 based on what people were saying online. But trying them on I could barely button the 29s, and since the thighs are fit tight enough for my taste, I thought getting 28s would be overkill. Probably could've got sz 28 new standards, but I wanted to try a slimmer cut. Now hoping that they don't stretch too much in the waist!
