JB 0701 Approx 3 Weeks Wear.

Hey Kiya,

Thinking about copping the SG2109 and have some questions.

I have the Japan Blue Momotaro JB0701 currently in their size 30 and the waist measures 32". There is still a tad bit of room albeit not much in the waist (maybe about a quarter of an inch). Would you suggest size 30 which measures size 31" for the SG 2109?

Unlucky for my wallet, since I can fit in to them.

Anyway, don't know if I will be getting them. They look lovely, but I allready have a somewhat same fit with my Copper Labels. And there are enough natural indigo offerings on other brands as well.

By the way, the fits on this page look awesome. Although I agree with thenorthern about the length of ones Momo's, they both look lovely.

@ Aniki: Have you had them hemmed?

They are hemmed perfectly , there is no drag when I walk however I do have sort of hyperextended knee angles so taking the picture looks a bit off. Camera sucks too so that doesn't really help.

I'll post more fit pics soon once I get the slr handy.

For a guy who has larger thighs and hamstrings + glutes (athetically larger) what would you recommend in terms of rise for a better cut? A lower or higher rise?

Haha negged for wearing stuff thats not 'vintage' or anything from self edge. Understandble, this forum revolves around that kind of style so I don't mind.

In my opinion I wear the best possible clothing I can find that looks and feels good, and in Calgary I unfortunately don't have any stores anywhere close to what Self Edge, BiG or Blueowl carry so its hard .

Appreciate the comment superjunkie (repped). The hem is actually perfect although the camera sucks, the jeans don't drag at all when I don't wear my boots.

I have fallen in love with japanese denim and am saving up for a 'real' pair when I get the coin.

Loving TSG, PBJ and The Flat Head the most.

Curious to add to the topic:

If I have the Japan Blue x Momotaro jb0701 only wore them once but I would love to create nice honeycombs/whiskers through wear. Since from the above posts saying to soak once even if sanforized will make the jeans become softer, wont it be harder for honeycombs and whiskers to set?

Hey guys,

Just bought a new pair of JB0701.

Was wondering, how does fading occur in the thighs?

Seen a ton raw denim on here with a beautiful fade on the thighs.

No clue how that works though as I can see it happening on the bum and back of the knees due to sitting down and standing up.

Any replies are appreciated Thanks!

i believe cone only make unsanforized for LVC, so it should be sanforized.
