  1. U mean "too gay"

    APC is so overrated.

Dude, you're a homophobic ass. Just because you're safe behind the anonymity the internet affords doesn't mean you have to be so damn antagonistic.

  2. i didn't miss anything, i searched those threads. i wanted a more focused discussion because what i found didn't satisfy my curiosity, brah

A discussion that could easily have been accommodated within the naked and famous thread (where you're more likely to find people who are able to satisfactorily answer your inquiries anyway). that's what it's there for. if a new thread is made for each and every variant produced by each and every brand the forum becomes cluttered.

  3. First of all, there is absolutely no need for you to be such a dick. You probably didn't receive a response because no one has heard of the brand, not because we're all ignorant or mean. You said yourself that they're a new brand. It takes time for information about up and coming denim brands to get around and even longer for quality of their jeans to be ascertained. Second, why are you so concerned about superdenim's opinion if you've already purchased the jeans? Maybe if you had provided links or pictures of the jeans someone may have shared an opinion but not many people here are going to conduct google searches for you. Finally, why were you name dropping brands under the cover of false modesty? Were people supposed to be impressed?

  4. I guess this won't work.

Because a couple of people who weren't part of the original contest expressed interest? That seems a little melodramatic. I personally was just interested in being a part of a contest, which is why I politely asked if the contest was open to new participants. I don't give a damn about free jeans. After reading through some of the contest threads on here they appear to be a lot of fun and I thought that this could be a chance to be a part of one. I know I'm a new member but we all have to start somewhere don't we?

  5. Hater's gonna hate. I can't say that I like everything they do, but they're solid in my book.

This. What I respect about naked and famous is that they're continually attempting to innovate. Yes, that does result in the occasional gimmicky product (scratch and sniff, I'm looking at you) but they are not simply reproducing the same pair of jeans, in the same cut, with the same fabric year after year without progress. They're pushing the boundaries of what denim can be. And best of all, in addition to offering a consistently interesting line of products thy're also extremely affordable.

  6. I own a very uninteresting three:

Marc Jacobs x Wrangler: my first pair of selvedge jeans. Unfortunately, I did not know anything about that that when I received them so they were washed after only a couple of wears and the indigo set.

Unbranded 101: my official entry into the world of raw selvedge denim. I've owned them for well over a year now but wasn't serious about wearing them until about six months ago. Currently on hold until I can repair a tear in the crotch.

Levi's Rigid Dragon: a cheap (only 20 bucks on sale) raw pair for summer wear.

  7. i really want a raw denim jacket but is there anything that has a reasonable price ~100 USD??

    http://us.levi.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12403046&&cp=3146842.3146845.3146860.11896263

Levi's dry trucker jacket down to 70 from 84. The full range of sizes is available. Also, Levi's is running free shipping until sunday so if you're interested now is the perfect time to pick one up. I actually just ordered one for myself yesterday because I've been dying for a raw jean jacket but can't really afford the more expensive ones either.

  8. Anyone seen these yet?

    http://www.amazon.com/Thorogood-Mens-Boerum-Horsehide-Leather/dp/B006XGG8OC

    http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/B006XGGC8E

Apparently made just for Highkickz. I've seen the Thorogood 685s and I'm not sure what the major differences are here but $180 seems pretty reasonable for horsehide American made footwear. May just have to pick up a pair and get in on this contest.

I was just looking at these the other day and had the same exact thought process. Very tempting!
