That is quite some stacking you've got there tong. Even if it's not my cup of tea I am really curious how it will turn out.

Yeah Max spread the word. I think that only the Bushmills 1608 does stand a chance to defeat Irelands Whikey-honor for a decent price.
But if the price was not an issue I would drink much more from Japanese distilleries. They are really extremly well balanced and like a piece of art. I had the Suntory Yamazaki 18 Years at a tasting once and really loved it.
These days I guess the countries where it was invented AND Japan are the hotspots for the enthusiasts, just like with denim. I wonder how many Denimheads are also Whiskyheads in the land of the rising sun.

Nice reply. Your are absolutly right about most of that. I agree that the fancy marketing and the hype should not be more important that the quality of the product.
But creating desire by throwing parties for free and stuff like that (What Ardbeg did) is pretty cool. If that is that way then I'm in ;-).
Macallan did some not so good stuff, but I tried some of the latest ones and they are getting better again. Same goes for Bowmore.
The latest Ardbeg (Ardbog) was not my favourite ether, but it was still really good. And when it was sold the first day the price was kind of ok. If you want to buy it now on ebay it is just three times. That is nonsense.
Springbank, Bunnahabhain or Glenfarclas have some of the best. But for some reason my favourite is Coal Ila. Especially the Distillers Edition. IMO people who like good Whisky and good denim have a lot in common. Just like you Max.

^Wow, that's fantastic! One of the best distilleries, though I can't follow their super expensive limited editions that are not really value for money to me. But I love a dram of Corryvreckan from time to time.
Good celebrity, exactly the kind of celebrity I like.
Thanks guys. He is just a really fun dude who knows a lot about Whisky. Yeah Max the limited Ardbeg editions are really pricey, but I think they are worth it most of the time. Just like the limited stuff from other distilleries. Islay Whisky makes me wanna move to Scotland.

Wow ... great fit and proportion on the denim ... makes you look like a 30 waist, but your profile says 36!
was thinking the exact same thing then saw your comment!
thanks. yax and the team from oldblue do a great job. the oldblues 21 are much tighter then my other jawns. but if the slim straight fit makes my ass look like a 30 I will think about getting more of that cut

I've never seen that Schmidt brand before. Where are they available? Love that one pocket shirt and exactly what I've been looking for.
you might want to approach the Sufu-user Nietenhose. He is the nice guy behind the awesome shirts.
