rhd have also been under new ownership since april.
That explains a lot...
Also, Corlection in Melbourne is good. Probably the best range of Japanese denim in Australia these days.

New XX-015. Pretty neat. More to follow.6 -
I just picked up New Balance Freshfoam Zante.
The best running shoes I've owned.
Co-sign. Plenty of space in the forefoot, good cushioning and they feel "fast".

Old Nat Geo is rad.

The first time I met a black American, I asked him if he was Will Smith.
Independence Day had just come out, he was a US Sailor in uniform, and his ship was docked in Australia. I think it was a fair assumption for my 5 year-old self to make.
He let me down gently, but he told me that Will was onboard, somewhere.7 -
Thanks for the tips, everyone. I knew Salomon were are the trail shoe, so I figured they'd come up at some point, but they always looked quite heavy-duty for my purposes.

Looking to make this my first 1000km year. What targets you lot are gunning for in MMXV?
Also, I'm thinking about getting a pair of trail shoes and I'm keen to get some advice. Mostly dry, dusty and rocky (nothing too insane though) around these parts, so I'm looking at lightness and breathability over waterproofing. Nike Terra Kiger looks like it's up my alley, anything else tick those boxes?0 -
Really though, it took me a long time to realise that clothing and the rest of my life aren't as compartmentalised as I had thought. Maybe I'm thinking about it too much, but buying into a brand without having the prerequisite lifestyle left me feeling like an idiot; buying a jacket isn't going to turn me into some sagely middle-aged Japanese dude with a salt-and-pepper beard, a chopped motorcycle and an enviable collection of house plants. Curiosity with clothes is cool but trying to hit those same aesthetics left me feeling like I was wearing a costume, not an outfit. Echoing what others have said, I guess I'm more comfortable in basics now. I'm a bland 22 year-old Australian. Pretending I'm not probably makes the problem worse.

Yeah, these are still for sale.

Can you plan intervals with Strava? I use RunKeeper and the audio cues for new intervals are essential.

45 seconds off my target time for 12k - Could be worse, I guess.
Jackg, done any more ridiculous runs lately? It's always cool to see people busting out ultras.0 -
So it'd be great to see this thread alive again.
I picked up with my running three months ago in preparation for the Adelaide City to Bay. Looking to finish in around 1:10, but I'm not too fussed about the result - It's just good to have some consistency with my running again. On to bigger and better things.
Rob/Adelaide sufu, are you running it again this year?0 -
