Just picked up some Devillian Black & Iron Society.

worn for about 1.5 years. about 5 soaks.

decided to wash em before i retire them; moving on to samurais now

Glad i bought my samurais through yuichi, got to me in 4 days (Japan to LA). He also marked my pants down as a gift and at a lower price so I wasn't charged with duties.

Got my pair of 710s from Yuichi. I sized according to the thigh, so i sized up 1.

word, Yuichi was really patient and helpful when i emailed him with tons of questions. Really fast responses also. Just sent him a deposit for my 710xx.

If you guys were wondering how he washes the denim:

From Yuichi

Fasten all buttons  , turn the jeans inside-out , using washing machine , with just a little detergent , in a hot water like bath (shower) degree.

Wash 10-15min - dry - rinse 5-6min - dry - rinse 5-6min- dry

I don't put the jeans in a tumbler.

In my experience , the jeans would not shrink any more.

I just received a pair of 710's from Yuichi! He soaked and hemmed them! Really happy with the fit! Size 33

 

 

 

 

Can you provide measurements on your pair? I will also be ordering from Yuichi and wondering how much shrinkage will his way of washing will cause. Not sure if I want to hot soak them myself or have Yuichi do the one wash. Thanks

i know you can lose up to 3 inches in the inseam from soaking but how much do you loose in the inseam from the first soak? Don't plan on soaking/washing mine that frequently. Wondering how much i should cut off.

edit: from what i read the 710xx on BiG dont have the arc/tag? is the only way i can get a pair with arc/tag is buying a pair in japan?

anyone know how often BIG restocks on samurais? was saving up for a pair of 710 then just noticed my size is sold out.

thinking about getting the ST-100. how do i size on these? i read that they only stretch an inch on the waist?
