saw two guys wearing something similar to both these fits near washington square park today if i'm not crazy lol

does anyone who has one wash denim feel that it doesn't fade as well? my whiskering and fades are not as broken in, or as solid as my previous denim, which i bought raw. or maybe pbj is different from samurai.
