  1. Nobody knows the answer,

It has little to do with experience of that particular denim and more to do with how much wear has previously occurred in that area and nobody can know that from the photo. Even if the denim is broken in in the crotch the fit on you may or may not cause the same friction in that area. Your Nudies have holes after 10 months but that does not mean everyone's Nudies will have holes on the pocket after 10 months. The Diors may go in the pocket before the crotch caused by your particular wear. There are so many variables it is impossible to know.

If you are happy paying $260 go for it.

Yes indeed there are many factors affecting the wear.

    Thanks.

The MII ones only 80 bucks more than that brand new...save your pennies.

Really? Do you mind linking me the site or shop? Checked Lvr but didnt see any 17.5 raw.

    Thanks!

  2. How would anyone know the answer to this question?

I think people who have experience using this pair of jeans would know the durability of the jeans. Of course, I am only looking for a general answer, say usage of three times a week or maybe daily usage of non-hardcore wear. I understand that there is no specific definite answer, but a general ballpark is fine. Why I ask this? My nudie has holes at the edge of the front pocket after 10 months of normal usage(3-4 days a week).

I apologize if my question is not clear.

If you don't know the answer to this, I would appreciate if you can answer my other question. :)

Wow. $300? Seriously? Please save your money.

Its about $260 after some negotiation. I believe retail price is $550.

    Thanks for the response guys.

great fit man!! i don't know why, but my jeans is not that tapered compared to you.. i wear TTS.. i just wore them for 3 weeks, the thigh area fits just right, but the calf area is not slim enough.. does it fits slimmer as you wear them more often?

  4. Darren,

    cold soak. 30 mn.???

on the front picture the buttons are so...present...

no critics Darren, i don´t like to do that. it your baby and you can do what you want with it, but one day your baby will need a wash...and...

yea.. that's what i thought too... the buttons.. anyhow, the previous pic of darren was much better than the newer one.. still it fits perfect, except for the buttons.. cheers :D

  5. dear fullhouse, he cold soaked them because the fit was probably already a little snug given the nature of these jeans, and he means they will shrink more within the next few washes, not including when they shrink back down to size after being worn. all the shrinkage will probably be gone by the 2nd or third time he washes or soaks... if the soak is hot enough
Yep, deadendpro pretty much summed it up exactly. If you want to get all the shrinkage out first go, give it a hot soak and let it air dry completely 2 times. The shrinkage on the 2nd and 3rd soaks shouldn't be too much of a problem though because if you wear them enough they will just stretch back out before shrinking again - but you will have to keep that in mind when hemming your jeans.

Okay.. I'm just gonna wait on my new pair.. See how they fit at first..

    Thanks for the answer :D

    @Darren

How does your pair feels after 3 months of wear? Is it still that abrasive or its getting soft now?

  6. Darren, did you do a cold soak or a hot soak on your pair? did you wear them when they are damp, or you left them air dry?

I've ordered a pair a few days ago. Should arrive this weekend.

So excited to take a look at my pair...
