guh my lease is up at the end of april and i don't know what to do.

i'm not a huge fan of my apartment but relatively speaking it's inexpensive for the area. i don't know anyone who wants to/is able to move in april, and i kind of don't want to craigslist it.

i think i'll see if my landlord is okay with a six month lease, but if not then i really don't know what to do because i don't want to stay another year.

people who talk about loving brooklyn (and meaning north brooklyn) like it's separate from the rest of nyc without really knowing much about the rest of the city. i too like living in brooklyn, but i have a basis to compare it against because i go out into the other boroughs and explore.

my apartment is overheated

i'm trying to help plan a party for new years; have had two different friends offer to host at their place, one is bigger (i think) and probably more conveniently located, but that friend and roommates are completely awful at planning things, and just being on top of what's going on in general. not sure what to do, and it's really frustrating. might just jump ship and let them be useless by themselves.

just cooked up some leeks and eggs for the first time. what an awesome vegetable.

drinking the rest of a bottle of wine, eating figs with blue cheese and honey. this night didn't work out as hoped.

the novelty will definitely fade but theres a big difference between coked out k head broads and girls that like to roll and go to dance parties once in awhile.

have fun, eat molly, dance, whatever it really isnt that hard to do and keep your life together. it is however tough to do anything when doing ketamine pretty often

yea i mean she has her stuff together in that she's super smart, volunteers, and is applying to law school while working a full time white collar job. i just found the total skill in balancing professional/personal life inspiring

i guess i like exploring this new sort of scene, and i'm impressed with people who are deep into it but are not total drugheads

rolled for the first time with this girl and her two friends over the weekend. thoughts:

1. she has her life together so completely that it's actually really inspiring.

2. i want to go to more of these underground sorts of parties and eat more drugs and listen to good music

i have been in hibernation mode since the fall and it's catching up to me. i need it to get a bit warmer so i can start running again.
