Gave them another hot soak, took care of the hip flair and some of the gaping. They're still kind of big in the waist but I can live with that, I just need to upgrade my belt.

if they are still loose around the waist, they will only get MORE loose over wear & time.

youll be dealing with oversized jeans in the long run. Unless you plan on gaining weight, id sell them

I've had my JGM's for about a month now. I got them in a size 29, they fit a little big in the waist and legs so I should have downsized one more from the get go. I wore them for two weeks and then put them in for a hot soak. The legs shrank considerably and they fit perfect now, but they are still slightly big in the waist and have a little bit of hip flair and gaping. Will a second hot soak cure this?

I+W is just way overpricing their products. The jeans honestly, honestly, feel like 150 dollar jeans. I wish they would have added more details/quality to the jeans. At least throw on a leather patch guys! But that being said, I enjoyed wearing the bartons and will always cherish them for being my gateway drug to the world of denim.

I am actually a bit disappointed with how these faded and I know its because I did not wear them enough and washed too often BUT these are my first selvedge jeans and my next pair will hopefully turn out better. Still love this pair though!
