Anyone have thoughts on Lum-Tec? Did a search and couldn't find anything. I'm looking at the Combat B series right now.
I heard they're great.... a buddy of mine has one of them (Combat B12). Beautiful and quality watch, overbuilt design, which is nice. If ya got the cash, go for it!
Can someone suggest some brands which make watches which suit those with girly wrists? I'm looking for a clean dress watch, nothing fancy. Atm, I'm imagining something with a gold bezel and white face.Patek Phillipe... if you have a grip of $$.
If not, a smaller Hamilton would look nice!
For USD 500:Deal?
Not my style, but i'd try to get them down a bit more. $400 would be a steal for it as most places sell it for around $550 right?

I figured i'd ask this here, as this is probably the most relevant thread:
Anyone know where to get knives duracoated? I wanted to get the blade AND handle of one of my Boker's done.
Also, if you've had it done, is it expensive? It's a 8" overall length knife, with a ~4" blade.
Hopefully it's not more than $50, because this knife was only $100 and i'd rather just buy a whole new knife if it's gonna be a shit load.

Vintage. doubt they'll reissue it, though with licensing these days who knows.
Fucking awesome man. Was it passed down to you?
Keep a hold of it.

I've gone back to wearing the aw75.
Is this one of those new re-issues, or a vintage one?

Speaking of the 4sevens Mini Quark CR2.... I need a light for EDC. All I have is a 16 lumen keychain light from Energizer.
I was thinking about a Quark Mini CR2 or a Mini 123. Would these be a good choice?
CountyComm is down right now, but are the Maratac AAA's any good, compared to the Quarks?
I want to stay underneath $50.

Duuuude! Loving this. If I carried larger wallets, this would be mine!
Someone kop this, it's already on the CORTER leather BigCartel site... only freaking $90 too!

Coach leather products (my girlfriend bought them for me, at the Coach factory outlet) are probably sacrilege here, as most of you have artisan leather. Lot's of nice stuff here!
Can't wait to commission a new belt from someone on the forums! Who should I go with? So many choices....
I got these at the same time and they were both the same color. Now the money clip has a nice patina, with tons of denim stains.
I've been using the card holder for about 3 weeks now, and I treated it with Obenauf's LP before I ever used it. Which is great stuff, for any leather product!

Where are you guys getting these at? I've looked around and can't find any Vanishing Elephant or White Mountaineering socks... does HAVEN have them in stock, but not online?
I'm in the USA, if that matters.

Awesome book, so far...

Mine, except that I bought a new Coach card holder (don't need a money clip, as I don't carry but a few bills and mainly use debit) and I use my Victorinox watch more than my Seiko.
Sometimes I use a Benchmade 585 (mini-Barrage) instead of this auto Boker Top-Lock, as well.

Anyone try the Two Feet Ahead socks? They stock them at Woodlands and Hickorees, that I know of.

Anyone tried a Columbia Knit brand shirt? Hickorees carries them... made in the USA, in Portland, OR.
They're only $35 as well... don't know if I should go with them or Velva-Sheen.

Thought I would post some pictures of my late granddads Navy sweater. He served in the Navy for England during WW2 and had all kinds of crazy stories... turns out every boat he was ever on got sunk and he made it out alive. This sweater as well as his sailors knife are two of my most cherished possessions.
Very, very cool. I would cherish it as well. Looks like the sweater is in wearable condition as well... do you ever rock it?
My great-grandfather was a "bazooka-man" (artillery) in WWII. I wish my grandmother would have held on to his uniforms and such. Would be great to have as a keepsake.

Finishing up the last few episodes of Sons of Anarchy, season 3.
I liked this show way more than I thought.

Would this be good as a layering piece or is a super thick knit, as to be worn by itself?
