Also, where can I learn more about leather craft like sewing and the tools I'll need?

Is it correct to say the S0500XX is considered a slim straight type of fit?

I'm in the market for a new pair of Samurai Jeans (especially with the weak Yen). I have a pair of S5000VX that I've worn for two years and I want to get a pair that is not so loose but not too tight. I am currently wearing a pair of Flat Head 3009's and those fit me perfectly as well as the Levi's 514s.I have narrowed my choices to either the S510XX or the S0500XX.  Which of those Samurai models best fit what I am looking for?

I bought a pair of S5000VX a month ago and I've been wearing them everyday for the past 3 weeks or so. I did two initial soaks on them but they have gotten looser around the thigh area. I am thinking about soaking them again but I'm afraid of losing too much indigo and losing the whiskers. Will it be a big problem?
