I went to this local catholic charity hall with my mom and sister. We all bought meals that would help go towards this child that almost drowned in a pool and it messed up his brain for life. Resulting in him not being able to talk/walk etc. So like we come in the building buy our tickets then you have to greet the child. So my mom and sister greet him smile and stuff. His older sister is like "yeah he's tired!!" laughing and smiling and stuff. So im next, i smile at the kid say hi, then i kinda look at him and then the sister then i say. "long day, eh?". Then she just gives me this look like "nigga please, aint body wantcho' ass"

Keep in mind she's been giving me this weird look as soon as i came into the door. She's one of those token fat white chicks that you can tell that ONLY dates black men. (im black, have dreadlocks and not interested at all)

At this point, im like damn. So i get my food and my folks say bye to her and its my turn again to say something. And I say thank you. She still gives me that look. So awkward.

I wonder, maybe it was how I was dressed?

if it bothers you just turn away,hell if you must say he looks like a clown. hes done nothing wrong. he just likes "hype" clothing. if he looks stupid to you cool, but theres someone else who's gonna think his fits are really good.

why are nike lunar glides suddenly the next big thing in the #menswear circle? i'm sure they're comfy but they're ugly as sin. i could tolerate new balances and nike frees to an extent, but the ugliest sneakers can get hyped if the right people wear them.

yeah im not feeling lunar glides. I guess the silhouette of them doesnt really fit my style. they look comfy though.

yo, I've always LOVED the more Avant Garde stuff. But whenever I had the money to get a legit piece i kinda opped out. Currently my style is somewhere in the semi "#menswear" realm. Im sort of aiming to switch my casual style by challenging myself with this stuff. Or just downright incorporating it. for example more drapier looser tops paired with high tops and stuff like that. I'm 5'7 and sort of slim/average build and I have dreads. so i figure playing with height and proportions is important. I really like demeulemeester, rick, geller & Juun. I also really like Junya Watanabe too. Help a brotha' out.
