  1. those are the 13.5 zimbabwe cotton cougars. i heard great things about the material and decided to go with those even though I loved the detail on the deluxe version. Oh, and i those are a 34" inseam

  2. i actually could have gone with a size down. my true waist size is a 34 but i got a 36 in ande's since on his site he said he measures the exact length not like some other brands that are marked 2" down from their actual measurement. I wish i had bought a 35 since the 36 stretched a little too much and these jeans don't look good if they sag :/ but a belt fixes that.

  3. Denim purchasing is probably the only time I have the upper hand on all of you by being single!

The only things I'll be buying this month are the Roys and an Inverallan hat from Inventory.

I hear that, i just bought a pair of Ande Whall cougars a few weeks ago, bought a pair of Roy's last week, and am just about to buy some Iron Heart DC 4001... I'm not single but fortunately not married so I don't really have to worry about my girl not understanding my weird affinity towards denim.... or the $$$ I spend on it. I just tell her "they're not just jeans, they are works of art. this pair is hand made from 1 guy in new zealand and made from cotton from africa, this pair is made in raleigh, north carolina and made from black seed pima cotton, and this...." goes on for a few minutes until she gives up.

  4. oh... ...Medine, are you just talking about the Roy x Cone contest denim that only 30 people get their hands on? If so, not worried since I'm not a big fan of cinch back jeans. Either way, i'm so pumped to get my Roy's tomorrow and live in them for the next week... which may be especially hard after thanksgiving dinner.

  5. if it's gonna be a looser fit jean than the current straight fit I feel i'll be more than happy with my purchase. I bought the 25th Anniversary Raleigh's that had an 18 inch leg opening and felt a little too loose to the slightly slimmer fit I enjoy (slim being no less than a 16 inch leg opening).

  6. HELL YES IT WILL LOOK SMALL!!!

    I'm 6' tall

    160 lbs.

I normally wear a slim fit L in mall brands.

This is me wearing an XL. I tried on the IH shirts in size L. They fit great, but if i flex my chest and move my arms back i'm capable of popping the buttons undone. That was a total deal breaker for me since clothing shouldn't come undone. The L will FIT you, but the XL will allow you to MOVE.

But hey, what do i know?

Great advice! Thanks for the fit picture as well. This will absolutely keep me from feeling like i dropped $345 on a shirt that feels one size too small.

  7. I'm thinking about getting the IHSH-32 in black but can't decide if I need a L or an XL. I usually wear a Large in J Crew sizes (not sure if anyone is familiar with the cut of J Crew's shirts?) and am 6' 0" with wide shoulders and weigh 180. Would a L look too small on me (I like slightly longer shirts than go beyond my belt line)?

  8. I've been wearing my Cougars just about every day for two weeks now since they arrived. To break them in I did a couple treadmill workouts which helped to soften the material. I love the fit and the cut of these jeans but they may be taking a back seat to the Roy's i'll be getting in a few days.

  9. Yeah same here, I'm in love with the material but I'm wearing my Ande Whall Cougars WAY more than my Raleighs. I hope Victor plans on offering something like a slimmer fit (in at least 14 oz Black Seed) once they finish moving into their new shop.

  10. I'm selling a pair of Clark's Desert Boots in Beeswax Leather size 10.5 which I wore twice. I'm selling instead of returning them since the store won't take them back due to the minor color change on the sole. I'm selling the pair for $50. Feel free to shoot me an email if interested. Thanks.

  11. Anyone get the Barney's 25th Anniversary Edition Raleigh Denim? I did... amazing details and impressive Black Seed Pima Cotton Material from Cone but I just wish instead of an 18" leg opening it was slimmer and more like a 16 or even 17" opening.
