  1. Worn outside the house probably 5 times, more or less. Majority of the time spent wearing these were inside the house trying to stretch them out, spread out over a few months. Should have around or less than one month's total worth of wear. Also, these have had two initial soaks.

From what I can tell, these have a slight wallet fade with the corners being most noticeable, the back pocket has a bit of fading where the hidden rivets are, and there is slight honeycomb/whisker fading, but they're more noticeable as creases rather than fades. The denim is still really dark, especially since Flatheads are known for their fast fading properties.

Not quite sure how much I'm looking for. Since it's 360 retail, worn about a month or less, and unfortunately 32 inseam, I'll try for SOLD including shipping.

I'm also open to offers, but I'm not in a rush to sell these, so don't be surprised if I reject your offer. However, I may be in a good mood on a random day and decide to accept your offer, so you should try to send offers anyway.

Feel free to post here or PM me for questions or more pictures. Thanks for looking.

  2. I think most guys like to maintain the original construction aspects of their jeans so that's why they go for the chainstitch.

I personally don't mind not having a chainstitch hem. It still does the job. I also find that the fact that chainstitching is more raised above the fabric than just a regular stitch tends to make it wear through faster, especially in the hem. But thats just me.

Alright. I'll probably get these hemmed in a week or two. Hopefully my stacks will be gone the next time I decide to post pictures again. Thanks for your input.

Still need to get a hem. Left these at Rising Sun for a week and they didn't do anything to them so I just took them back. I might just get a regular hem instead of a chainstitch hem at a local tailor. Is it really worth getting a chainstitch hem?

  4. Haha, alright thanks. I'll take note of that. Also, would you happen to know what brand of jeans they turned into jorts. I went in with a friend and we both got our jeans hemmed, but if they did mess up on one of ours, it's more likely that they messed up on mine.

  5. I dropped off my jeans to get them hemmed at Rising Sun last Friday. They told me that they could be done by Monday, but more likely Tuesday or Wednesday. It's now Friday and I haven't gotten a call from them. I called them twice yesterday a bit after 12 and around 4 and they didn't answer either time. Today I called at 2 and they didn't answer again. Any ideas why they don't answer their phone?

Also, I've read somewhere on this forum and also on yelp that sometimes they take an extra week or two to hem jeans. If that's the case, I would probably go to the store in the next couple of days and take my jeans back and go somewhere else that actually cares about their customers, or pretends to.

First time posting pictures of these. It's been exactly one month. I didn't post pictures of when I first got them because I felt like they were too tight. They loosened up a bit and I like the fit alot now. By the way, these were bought one wash.

  7. ^It disturbs us athletic *cough* guys, who wear 32"+

I've got a question: someone mentioned there would be an 24 oz Version of the XX010. He read it in an Lightning Mag. Does anyone know, when or where these would be available and if they're a one-time run?

My e-mails from Gordon from November. Things may have changed since then, but this is what he told me.

We’re not sure yet if we’ll produce the xx-010 denim in the xx-013 cut but we do have a limited run of a new pbj xx-010 24oz denim being produced in the xx-013 cut coming sometime in Jan/Feb. The regular xx-010 denim will be available possibly the end of this year or early next year.

Well the plan is to produce the smaller sizes in the 005 cut and the larger sizes in the 013 cut, this will help to balance it out so they’re not too slim for this heavy denim. And I’m not sure yet on the price but probably around $375 or so.

Hope that answers some of your questions.

  8. I went tts but mine were one wash. They eventually stretched to an ideal fit but after every wash, they shrink and take a week to stretch back. If you have bigger thighs, you should size up though.

Exactly the same thing for me. Was a bit tight at first, but they stretched out in the first week or so.

I'll try to get some pictures up after I'm done with finals. I'm almost at two weeks, so nothing really spectacular yet.

  9. I just got my purple faces yesterday. They're a bit too tight for my liking right now, but hopefully they'll stretch out in the next couple of weeks. If not, then I guess I'll just live with it.
