  1. guys, i'm looking to get some PBJ slub denim. i'm interested in something similar to a N&F Slim Guy, or maybe a Levi's 514 cut. Is the 007 significantly slimmer than these? Suggestions from the experts???

Or u could get the xx-007sp, 007 denim with 011 cut. Only thing is that the jeans have yellow/orange stitching, which may be off-putting to some. I have them and am loving them though:D

  2. ddeen- Yeah unfortunately i bought a size bigger. so the question now is would it be a better choice for me to just sell these off, or give them a taper?

I'd definitely rather get a taper as it would be more economic, but if that's not gonna help much then i guess they have to go:(

  3. Guys I need some help!

My PBJ xx-011 fits weird, like there's excess denim all over the place.

Especially the crotch area, the way the denim folds is really ugly.

I was wondering if a taper would be able to get rid of the excess denim? Like will it mess up the position of the backpockets or whatever, cuz the fit is really making me not wear these at all.

  4. The shop in front of Dee does it.

The last time i was there i brought in two pairs that had just been tapered from the outseam (selvedge side) at my usual seamstress shop, to have the hems chainstitched.

On that occasion, I asked if he could have done it from the inseam and he said that it was indeed possible, would have cost 200ish baht and would've taken 2-3 days.

Since i don't wear my jeans cuffed, i paid 30 baht for mine and it was done well, exactly according to my indications and in no time, i couldn't be bothered spending 200baht and waiting 3 days for the job to be done from the inseam.

Anyway, yes, you can have it done at MBK. Remember, in FRONT of Dee (the guy has thai-muslim themed stuff on the walls, which is a good way to recognize the shop if you pop your head in it. He also sells denim and second hand ralph lauren shirts). Yes, he does speak basic English.

Chainstitch hemming is done on the Union Special while you wait. 100 baht a pop

    Thanks for the quick reply!

I'll prolly check them out, 200 baht is mad cheap :)

  5. Was wondering if anyone can recommend me a good place to get my jeans tapered?

I've tried MBK's Dee Jean's hemming services, but am not sure if they do tapering?

P.S. - English speaking ones perhaps? I wanna make sure no miscommunication screws my jeans up

  6. Up for sale is my PBJ XX-011s, lightly worn for about a month, chainstitch-hemmed about an inch off.

Selling cuz they are too big for me.

Based in Singapore, but can PM me to work out something if you are overseas as well. I don't know how dealing internationally works, so I would appreciate some advice??

Looking for 250 SGD/ 200 USD for these.

  7. Ord, how's the workmanship of the chainstitch at Dee jeans? Planning to bring my IHs and skulls over with me next week.

Not bad really, just got my PBJ XX-011s done there last week. Was only 100 baht.
