thanks for the reply. I would love to taper them but the last time i got a pair of jeans tapered the selvedge got ruined

right now i have a pair of samurai 710s and im getting kind of annoyed of how the lower leg doesnt taper like i want it to. what are my options if i dont want a new pair of jeans? thanks a lot!!

Samurai 710xx - 9 month update

I really like how these are turning out! good job

As we all know, denim and diet do no mix and unfortunately, I did not know that. Up for sale is a pair of Samurai s0500x that I purchased in March of 2011. I worn these for a good 2-3 months lightly before I realized they do not fit me anymore. These have been hemmed to a 33 and that is the only alteration that has been made to these. The only flaw to these is a tiny hole created from my cuff. These have had a hot initial soak and a wash at 3 months in an attempt to shrink them. I do not have a working camera at the moment so my iPhone will have to do but I will try my best to take better/clearer pictures upon request. I do not have a firm price but I think 175 (not including paypal fee and shipping) is a fair price but willing to negotiate. Feel free to contact me through PM or ask any questions!

so i've lost weight over the summer and i was looking into a slimmer pair of jeans. would you guys recommend the shearers and are they roomier in the thigh area?

those 710s look beautful

for my samurais initial soak, i used cold water i know there wont be as much shrinkage as hot water but what are other differences between a cold initial soak and a a hot water initial soak? thanks a lot!

I have finally decided to get a pair of s0500xx after a month of researching but now the problem is, i dont want to get a pair without the arcs and i dont know how to order them from japan. any help would be greatly appreciated.

S0500XX gives you more room in the thighs but also has a bigger leg opening

im looking into a pair of samurais, mainly the 710 cut but i have big thighs so dont think the 710s would be right for me so how is the 0500s compared to the 710s?
