I can't speak to the 900, but look into the 1105 (if you don't mind a zipper). They are pretty similar to a tapered 800 without feeling too slim.
KB, you might want to consider the 1002.
Thanks for the responses. The 1105 looks more what I'm after. Does Warehouse shrink to tag size?

Hi,
Does anyone have experience with the Lot 900 jeans? I'm after a pair of slimish jeans in the banner denim but am concerned the 900s might be too low rise.

For any London based posters on here, The Hideout in Soho had a few McCoys sweats for sale at £87. If you don't mind the big graphic on the front, it's a pretty good deal.

Are they using Flat Head amps?

Paul T had an old pair of Lotus shoes resoled by them and was very happy with the results, if I remember rightly.
Cheers dude.

Does anyone London based have experience of John Rushton Shoes repair jobs? I have a pair of Red Wings that need re-heeling.

My N-1 arrived today, excellent service from VP as always. Really pleased with this, outstanding quality, thick soft and warm. I have a 40" chest, am 76kg and 185cm tall. I went for a size 40 and it fits great, even the sleeves which I thought may be on the short side. For the sake of those wondering about sizing, here's a dodgy fit pic.
By VP do you mean Vintage Paradise in Japan? Did you get hit by any custom fees or anything?
Thanks

the RMC discontinued all loop wheeled offerings last year. Anything produced in 2012 (and ss13) was not loopwheeled. The new collection is bringing back a loop wheeled sweat and a white loop wheeled tee, probably because of retailer pressure. Those will be the only two loopwheeled items.
Do you know if the loopwheeled and non loopwheeled sweat differ in any other ways? Size/weight/fit etc. I did email Superdenim about this but so far haven't received a reply.

Been looking at the F/W stuff on realmccoys.co.jp and there appear to be three different sweatshirts - a lightweight one, a normal one and one that is specifically loop wheeled. Which suggests that the normal one isn't loop wheeled. I think.

I think they might be just be different seasons.

I was reading an interview with the Real McCoy's CEO in Free & Easy yesterday. He mentioned that they are planning to open their first overseas shop soon. Should be interesting.

If anyone's interested, Superdenim posted a couple of pictures of loopwheel machines from what I think is the Real Mccoys factory on Instagram.

Some great jeans in this thread.
Really good article. Was under the impression that the Real McCoys had been going since the early 90s though - is this not the case?

That Steve McQueen sweatshirt has been in production for many a year, first released by McCoys in the early 90,s if i am not mistaken, There is also the same sweat with cropped/frayed sleaves from The Great Escape and the earlier edition has Capt. V.Hilts stencilled on the reverse in white.
I guess that got lost in translation. Being able to read Japanese would make browsing Rakuten a whole lot easier.

Given the discussion about McCoy sweats, this is probably relevant. Saw it on the Speedway Facebook page this morning. Toys McCoy have released a couple of sweatshirts inspired by Steve McQueen in The Great Escape. They look pretty cool.

What's the cut like on them? The Aero Leather website doesn't really reveal much.

I came for the raw denim. I stayed for the grebo.

I'm after a chambray work shirt. Currently trying to decide between these brands:
The Real McCoys
Workers (or e-Workers)
orSlow
Post O'alls
I'm leaning towards The Real McCoys but if anyone could comment on any of them, that would be great.

Hi,
I'm on the lookout for a chambray workshirt and have got my eye on either one from Workers or The Real McCoys. Can anyone comment on either (or both) of these? How do they fit?
Cheers

A denim shop in London?
Jokes aside, I look forward to seeing it.

Any of you have the barns double v vintage model sweats? Thinking of getting one shipped over from Japan. The fit looks great. Just wondering how heavyweight they are (the heavier the better)
Assuming you mean these - http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/kitarou/item/barns-005/ I have one in 'black'. It's got quite a strong green tint to it. The fit is good but it's not super heavy. Heavier than your average sweatershirt but I'd guess it's not as heavy as The Real McCoys or Strike Gold. But it is half the price. Also, the V bit on the neck is real if that matters.

We decided last month to take the time and money spent on that and put it into figuring out a way to expand SESF.
If all goes to plan we'll be closing down the shop for a week or two in the spring and knocking down some walls to increase our space.
Hi Kiya,
Are you guys still going to be closing? Do you know when?
Thanks

It was a joke. But it would go a way to explaining the errant apostrophes.
