  1. that looks pretty good especially if you're not too active in them. have you washed them recently? if not, i'd do a cold wash, line dry and you should see some more contrast.

Thanks, they've all ready seen a couple cold washes so that's that until I put some more wear into them...

  2. fit of the strikegold looks great imo but also tricky to achieve the same fit

think ill go for a navy Ball park sweatshirt

I would definitely pick the the SG over the Ball park, it just feels way plusher... I think we're probably the same size, I bought that LVC Flannel shirt off ya there a few months ago and it fits great...

  3. Both fits look extremely good, I like the length of the strike gold in the body but the sleeves look a little long in comparison.

Thank you sir... yeah I was very surprised by the extent of the body shrinking, I wish I had taken a before shot because you wouldn't believe how the dimensions collapsed (I hand-washed it but maybe the water was too hot). I've gotten used to the different proportions now and I love it. If SG made one in grey I'd sell the Joe and buy the Gold.

  4. A comparison of fits both size small and post wash...

The Strike Gold shrunk enormously after the first wash, especially in the length of the body (good thing I'm small as a motherfucker...). The Strike Gold is far more plush and I prefer it, however the Joe McCoy has seen an accidental tumble dry once and that could account for some of the softness on the inside being lost (though from memory, I don't remember it ever being as nice as the Strike Gold).

  5. Does anyone know how to restore the nap on a loopwheeled sweatshirt? It's Joe McCoy, been washed a load of times and unfortunately tumble dried once. Someone said something about brushing it earlier in the thread, what kind of brush are we talking about here and is there any specific technique?
