  1. I would wait until you need to wash them before you do. They will get dirty within the first few months, long before holes form because of excess starch, so just wash them then. Fewer washes basically means better fades so why do that extra and mostly unnecessary first soak. Wash when you need to, you will need to.

  2. I'm selling my size 9D Iron Ranger boots by Red Wing. I bought these less than a year ago and am selling them because they are too big for me. I love the way they look and I though I'd grow into them but that didn't happen. These boots run large; I wear size 10 New Balance and 9.5 Asics so my boots would fit someone who wears around 10.5.

There is a bit of wear on the tongues where the lace hooks rubbed the leather. I think this happens to every pair of Iron Rangers. Otherwise they are in perfect condition. I have not applied any conditioner or other product to them.

Paid 258 for these, asking for $140 shipped to the continental USA. I haven't been a member here for long so here's a link to a feedback thread about me on another forum I have sold thousands of dollars worth of merchandise on: http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/263873/pickwick and this is my ebay profile: http://myworld.ebay.com/mumpalump
